So funny!

Quirky and fun holiday listen that I had so much fun with. I laughed a lot while listening to the story. It was a really cute fun romp with paranormal creatures. I couldn’t get enough of the funny characters and crazy things they got into. I’m excited to get more stories in this town and get to know even more of the characters.

Vampire Santa!? Funny Adult Read

Parents: This is Not for kids or teens. R-X rated - There is SO much cussing in this book that I didn't even try to keep track (including f-bombs). The violence is moderate fantasy levels (think vampire = more bloody scenes), and sexual content is very heavy: lots of adult bedroom humor and pretty hard to miss insinuations and puns, along with a pretty detailed bedroom scene at the end.

Definitely a fun comical read for the adult vampire enthusiast with a funny twist about being forced to change Santa to keep him from dying and save Christmas... what could possibly go wrong with that? It's a short and quick read at just under 3 hours. I personally don't care for books with this level of bad language and thought puns were a bit too much at times-- it just came off a bit juvenile.

The narrator does a great job, has good differentiation between characters, and is fun to listen to.

Another Great Addition to the Series

Carrie Pulkinen did a great job bringing the Christmas season to this series. The story line was fun filled and engaging while the characters were well written. If you are looking for a holiday read to leave you in the Christmas spirit, look no further.

Holly Jackson, the narrator, did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life and kept me laughing from start to finish.

I received an arc and audiobook of this story and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Fell in love

This is the best!! I love the snarky characters, and the story itself. It's got vampires and best of all Santa Clause. The author did a great job.The narrator is wonderful bringing the characters to life. The ending is a little to graphic for kids but that can always be left out without hurting the story.

Oh Jane, what have you done?

Is there anyway to save Christmas after running over Santa? It looks like turning Santa into a vampire might be the only option, but will it work?

Carrie Pulkinen keeps things fun, and funny, in this fourth book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series. I love the dynamics between all the characters.

Hollie Jackson delivers another great performance. She really brings out the personalities of the characters.

excellent

This book was so funny. And can actually be read as a stand alone since I accidentally did. Now I really want a book by her about Santa and Mrs Claus.
The narrator really did a great job. I don't think this would have been as funny in my head.

Perfection - I loved it - better than 5 stars!

Is there a higher rating that 5 stars? This book and narration would win it from me! I LOVED every second of this listen. First, the characters and storyline were fun, funny, but still loving and heartwarming. Our main character is newly turned vamp Jane who has quite the blunders and is known for them but she is fun, funny and oh so loveable and maybe just a tad outspoken from time to time but has fierce friends who have her back (I want to be this girl or her bff). Narration was PERFECT. Being a southern girl the narration came thru wonderfully and I understood all those non cussin' curse words! In fact, I may start havin' to use a few to keep my mouth cleaner than it's been! Santa is just fabulous and the twists that Pulkinen give us kept me glued to my audible app listening! I do believe I've got another favorite author and narrator! I can't wait for more!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Hilarious Paranormal Christmas Romantic Comedy!

This is the fourth book in the New Orleans Nocturnes Series, a Paranormal Christmas Romantic Comedy. This is a great Series of interconnected novellas. Jane is such a fun and beautiful character. We met her and Ethan in License to Bite, book one in the Series. I loved to see them again. The supporting characters are amazing. The storyline is hilarious, and entertaining. Hollie Jackson did a fantastic job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Finders Reapers, the next book in the Series. If you like Paranormal Romantic Comedy, this Series is for you!

Ho, Ho, Ho. A Christmas Joy

A superb seasonal story, laugh out loud funny , A brilliantly strange idea of a story with a great lead character who has an unfortunate accident (0r Whoops as she puts it) and runs over Santa Claus a week before Christmas, and has to turn him to save Christmas and prevent all out war. I loved the Harley Davison reindeer, the hilarious Santa Vampire and also enjoyed the slightly more serious second half of the tale when her father arrives. The narration is so much fun, perfect for the characters, a great range of voices and accents make it a joy to listen to. I received a complimentary copy from Storyorigin and am leaving a honest voluntary review.

Excellent read!!!

Thoroughly enjoyable story, full of laughs and laughter.
Jane accidentally runs over Santa, not sure what to do asks Gaston. Unfortunately Santa is very close to death so she turns him into a vampire. How does she explain that!
Then she finds her father (who doesn’t know she is a vampire) is coming for Christmas. Once again how does she tell her father her life has changed forever!
Story is absolutely full of fun and problems but there is nothing wrong with laughing through a book!!! Read on.

Holly Jackson is a lovely narrator.

A laugh out loads listen

Book 4 in the series. And what can I saw about Carrie Pulkinen stories. She likes to do a few twists and turns on all her stories. This one is no exception. She throws a different take on Santa , is he real ?
Jane was just going for a little spin in Gastons fancy sports car. The unfortunate part happened when she lost control and hit a guy in the park Little does she know who the guy is . He’s a death door when her other half calls Gaston. That when Gaston tells Jane , that’s Santa is real and he’s in charge of the Fai. She has no choice but to turn him into a vampire. So now not only is he a Fai but a vampire also. Now will she tell Mrs Claus what she did but how Mrs Claus take it

Hollie Jackson Performance is fantastic. She’s becoming one of my favourite performers. Her voice is fantastic, strong, and steady

Entertaining and fun read!

This is such a fun paranormal Christmas romance story. As with all of the books in this series, Carrie Pulkinen delivers on the humour, the storyline and the characters.

The book itself is about a Jane, whom we originally met in book #1 of the series, (although I have not read that book as of the initial posting of this review) whom was was turned into a vampire. In this book she is living an enjoyable and happy life, now a vampire and married. However, has not told her father about her being a vampire or about her marriage. When he announces his intentions of visiting her for Christmas, she has to grapple with his reaction once he finds out about all she’s been keeping from him. If that wasn’t enough stress, she accidentally runs over Santa Claus (yep you heard that correctly) and has to turn him into a vampire in order to save his life, and a lot of mishaps and chaos ensues.

Truly a fun and hilarious read!

Fab short story

I love this series and was so happy when I saw this book. This follows Jane and Ethan from a previous book and Jane is still getting into all sorts of trouble. After she runs someone over whilst driving Genevieve she soon realises it’s Santa and Gaston tells her she has to change him to save his life . The puns are so funny in this books I was giggling most the way through it . As usual Hollie Jackson narrates perfectly .
