Publisher's Summary

After going through pregnancy at her side, listening to all the mumbo-jumbo jargon strangers in white coats spewed at me, just to have my woman do the exact opposite the minute we left their office - I decided to help my fellow man.

In a language we actually speak.

Disappointed

Sawyer Beckett is a great character in this series, but this short wasn't entertaining to me. I thought it painted pregnant women out to be irrational, unreasonable, inconsiderate whiners who are ruled by wildly fluctuating emotions. It fed into all the "crazy pregnant woman" stereotypes.

Guide for soon-to-be dads.

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible Plus review. Single POV (Sawyer's). Book 3.5 (but really book 5) in the 12 book Evolve/Full Circle series. The narrator is great. While it is hilarious the 1 star review is because this should've been included at the end of 'Entice'. I listened to it at 1.50 speed making the novella just about 15 minutes. *This should be free of charge as bonus content from the author. It's currently $3.99 USD before tax. Ridiculous, right?* JP

So here's a summary of his guide:

A disclaimer that Dane required him to make.
Always be prepared.
1) Buy a pregnancy reference book, a dictionary, and a thesaurus. Use Siri. Practice what you're going to say & how you're going to speak to your baby mama about your new knowledge.
2) No grabbing her boobs.
3) "Walking Sprinkler" Be prepared for frequent urination. No tickling, showering together, road trips, or cruise control.
4) Nausea, Crying, and Crying to the point of nausea. Basically bring barf bags & Kleenex.
5) Sex Drive. Heightened at the 15th week for a brief period then normal drive returns 8 to 10 weeks postpartum.
a) No it can't harm the baby.
b) Doggie Style is your best friend.
c) On top is also a friend.
d) Don't ask for a BJ if the moment is lost.
e) Take every opportunity or use lotion.
6) Cravings. Stock up on her favorite snacks, sleep dressed incase of nighttime cravings, and be prepared for her to change her mind/get sick.
7) Hide/break the scales, be prepared to bribe the nurse about her weight gain or say you leaned on the scale, and never acknowledge a more attractive/thinner pregnant woman as such. Mood Swings: activate your selective hearing.

“Sawyer” did a great job with the writing of this “book” and narrating it. It is all so very relatable and true... you never know what you’re going to get 🤰🏻👩🏻‍🍼💗💙
