Publisher's Summary

From NYT and USA Today best-selling author A.L. Jackson comes a close-proximity single-parent stand-alone romance about a woman on the run and the man who will do anything to save her....

Jud Lawson found me stranded in the rain.

Broken down on the side of the road in a deserted neighborhood with my piece-of-crap car.

I wasn’t looking for a hero, and definitely not one who looks like him. An obscenely hot mountain of a man who screams danger.

But I have little choice other than climbing onto the back of his bike.

One look at Salem Aguilar, and I’m hooked.

The girl is devastation wrapped in a black, seductive bow. A knockout. A dream.

Turns out, she needs a job, and I need the help.

Now I have a vixen strutting around my shop, and I’m the fool who’s itching to reach out and take what he can’t have.

But neither of us can ignore the burning attraction.

The fire that leads to a kiss. A kiss that has us falling into my bed. The connection that has me wanting the one thing I’d never thought I could have again.

Because monsters like me don’t deserve love.

Only Salem has a secret, too.

She’s been running for years, and her past just caught up to us....

This Was Annoying

For several reasons this was annoying:
1. The story is so good but the author was so so painfully repetitive.
2. The children lines were very hard to listen to because of the bad grammar. I understand that children don’t always say things right but this was next level making it seem like the girl child was making up her own language. Yes children make mistakes when speaking but no one adds an S to the end of every word they speak. That was just awful. I don’t know what children this author has been around.. they repeat what adults say mostly not add extra letters to every word. I’m repeating myself a lot her because the author seemed to like that.
3. Some phrases were used a lot of emphasis but there’s more that could be said. Especially with inner dialog.
4. Most of the book was inner dialog and hardly any conversation between the characters.
5. The plot twists and events that were good were very short and the rest was just repeating inner dialog. It could’ve been much better that it is. I see some people suggesting it be made into a movie but it needs more conversations between people for that to happen.

Absolutely Phenomenal

Every new book of Amy's I think will not top the last one but then I finish in a complete hangover and in total aww of the book. Jud and Salem are no different. Jud knew the night he saved a damsel in distress, that a storm had overtaken his world. Little did he know just how much and that his darlin certainly was no damsel in distress. He rescued one of the strongest heroines ever. This mama didn't care what 'adventure' she had to take her Juniper on, she was going to protect her to the end of time. Can we talk about little Juni B. This little girl is a spitfire, especially with her new bestest friend in the whole wide world, Gage. These two together are going to grow up to be nothing but trouble in the best way possible. I say it every time, but Amy writes the best kids into her stories. They are not just background characters, but rather the heart of the story. And Mimi, wow oh wow, does this grandma have some spunk left in her and the absolute best lines too!

They say lightening doesn't strike twice. Jud thought he gave his heart away once until he is hit by Salem. This girl has his heart stopped and he doesn't know how to handle things. He knows his past is bad, he knows he is no good to anyone but he moved to Redemption Hills for a reason and Salem is there to make him see that he is not defined by the things he has done, he can be a better person and he can be loved. Salem thinks all the choices she has made will never give her the one thing she truly wants, a home. Their worlds might have collided on a fateful night on the side of a highway but their paths are intersecting in a way that neither can run from. Jud & Salem both have so much broken inside them and having each other to help work through it all may just change their forever.

I can not wait for Logan's book. Not just cause we need the Armani model of a brother's story but I can't wait to see how this whole family continues to grow!

Once again Joe Arden & Andi Arndt did a phenomenal job!

Salem, Juni & Their Motorcycle Man

She did it again!! What an incredible story filled with characters you can’t help but root for and fall in love with! Jud is sexy, beautifully damaged and protective. Salem, a fighter, a stunning beauty whom radiated strength and tenacity from the inside out. Great side characters including two adorable kiddos, tragic pasts, a solid dose of suspense and intrigue, sizzling chemistry, redemption, a second chance to truly live, and finding “home”…this book has it all. Pure magic! A completely addictive series. I need more, like yesterday!!! Oh…and two of the best narrators around bring this story to life in 4-D technicolor. 10 stars ⭐️ A must listen!!!!!

Difficult to stomach

It started hot and then just became the same story of two people who cannot fathom being apart after only two weeks. Mimi was the best. Meh.

Talented narrators; complicated words/story

Mostly picked this book because of narrators pleasure to me but the almost unending tragedies a bit too…too much…almost did not finish

Say It’s Forever

I was looking forward to this book🎧as much as I had enjoyed the previous book “Give Me A Reason” but sadly it wasn’t as good. First, there are sooo many triggers but I can live with that. Secondly, the narration was okay until they did the kid voices and it was horrifically horrible!! Lastly, the story became to repetitive and that’s just annoying and some of the story was never explained…For example when did Jud divorce his first wife? And when did Jud & Salem get married? Ugh, I hate unexplained obvious important storyline facts! Is it worth the credit? For me it’s a NO but if you can overlook all of the above, well hell enjoy.

A new author to love

I bought this book because of the narrators, but the author was just as amazing. A. L. Wove an intricate tale that reaches and grabs you from start to finish, taking everything humanity has to offer and swirls it into the ups and downs of a tragic story of two people who just want to love, be loved and be happy.

Looking forward to the other books in my library by this author.

Stunning narration and book

inn a firm believer that a narration can make or break a book, a great narration can often save a weak book and equally a weak narration and destroy a great book. Fortunately both this book and the narration were brilliant.
this is the second book in the series and it's thoroughly enjoyable, I've already bought the 3rd book and will be going straight into it. I highly recommend the series.

Great story 🔥❤️

I loved this book, it had me rooting for Salem and Judd from the first encounter. Judd is loyal, kind and a big softy at heart. The has a happy ending and finishes off well. The story is well written and the narrators did an excellent job.

Emotionally charged masterpiece!

Oh my black, twisted heart! I don’t even know where to begin with this breathtakingly stunning, heartbreakingly raw, emotionally charged masterpiece.
Say It’s Forever is a single-parent, close proximity, stand-alone romance about Salem Aguilar, a woman on the run and Jud Lawson, the man who will do anything to save her.
A story about two broken souls breaking down their walls and learning to not only love and trust again but also bring each other out of the darkness and into the light.
Jud has demons he keeps buried because they cost him his heart. Salem has been put through hell by the one person who vowed to love and protect her.
Narrated by the insanely talented Joe Arden and Andi Arndt who really know how to draw every ounce of emotion out of us listeners.
Mr Arden’s performance as the take no crap, hard on the outside, soft on the inside ruggedly handsome motorcycle restoration biker was sheer brilliance. Joe never fails to have my eyes sweating when he plays these emotionally broken men. Respectfully Sir, can you dial your level of greatness down just a smidgen please, you are singlehandedly ruining my credibility as an ice queen with a black heart one book at a time.
Ms Arndt’s portrayal of Salem was simply magnificent. Andi is a total powerhouse and does an incredible job of showcasing not only Salem’s scared and vulnerable sides but also her protective Mamma mode and her sexy, seductive, and confident sides. Andi pulls it all off flawlessly.
I couldn’t have loved this more! A truly captivating, totally spellbinding, unputdownable book that is pure perfection!

Amazing story and performance

Absolutely a must to listen. The performance is out of this freaking world. Poetic and powerful, loved it. The story of redemption, trust and broken love is well developed. Jud’s depth of emotion and brokenness makes you swoon and cry. First book 📖 from this author and I am completely taken by the poetic prose. A fabulous holiday read. Thanks 🙏 for this little bit of sunshine made out of black freaking magic 🪄
