Publisher's Summary

Change is coming, one scale at a time.

Raiden’s eyes were opened to the horrors that lay beyond the Sixth Realm. Now he is pushing for change for all the realms, for both human and dragonkind alike.

The support Raiden hopes for doesn’t come, but the weight of what is happening isn’t something he can let go. With Egan at his side, Raiden finds the strength he needs and leaves his home once again. Only this time he doesn’t know if the crown will still be waiting for him when he returns. Whatever the cost, he is willing to see it through.

Egan still bears scars, seen and unseen, but the one person he can always lean on is Raiden. Raiden is his rock, his anchor, and he will do anything to support him through Raiden’s most difficult trials. Even if it means leaving behind his home and his family, as the two of them face the unknown together.

With dragons for guards, Raiden and Egan search the realms for allies to march with them in a War of the Realms.

Whatever the future brings, Raiden and Egan will face it together, always.

BEAUTIFUL!!!

This is definitely one of my top series of all time!!! I fell madly in love with Raiden and Egan from the start, and I loved watching them through to the end of their journey.
In the fourth and final book of their story, we see Raiden taking a stand against his father, King Rodick, and the whole Sixth Realm to fight for what he’s knows is right. Raiden is determined to save the other realms, especially the Fifth, but he knows that some of the leaders are corrupt and will go against him. He knows that with Egan by his side, and his dragon crew, that he can accomplish anything. It won’t be easy, but he has to try.
There’s also exciting things happening in the royal family and with their friends, as well as great discoveries made, both good and bad. Oh and an appearance by the fabulous Queen Aireen!!!
A lot happens in this one, but it was the most beautiful conclusion for the prince and his dragon. I think I cried through the last half hour, but wonderful tears of happiness!
A stunning series by Debbie McQueen, amazingly narrated by Talia Carver!

Fantastic ending to a great series!

Loved this fourth and final book in this queer dragon adventure series!!

the narrator has really nailed the voices of the two main characters! I'm so glad they were able to continue to voice them for all four books. some of the side characters didn't have very separate voices, but that's definitely a very hard thing to do, and overall this narrator did a great job!

A great ending to the Dragon King series!

A great ending to the Dragon King series!

I received a free audiobook from the author in exchange for a honest review!

This book was amazing! A great ending to the series, where all the loose ends were tied up, and characters find themselves and their true callings. I loved the revelation at the end! If you are debating listening to the audiobook- do it!! The narrator is amazing at capturing each and every characters voice, I am honestly in awe. All in all, 4.5 stars rounded up! Do not hesitate to start this series!

Loved this series

Loved this series

I can't tell you how much I have loved this series, I know it's meant for YA, and I'm far from that. But, the way Debbie has written the characters and the world-building has been incredible.
The way the characters have had a very close relationship without too much detail, unlike adult books. It just gave you all the feel-goods without being sordid.

The world-building was written with such great description that I reckon I could draw a map of the realms.

I loved how Royal Fallon had they/them pronouns, it's an emotional series, and I would recommend it to people of all ages. I have now started on the novellas that go alongside this series, and I don't want this series to end.

I need to read more from this incredible writer.

Read this now!!

I cannot believe this series has come to an end. McQueen really is a genius. I'm going to miss these boys so much oh my gosh. If you have been following me and still haven't given book one a try... what are you doing? Read it now!

Sticking to the other reviews, I'm going to keep this spoiler free, but for those who have read it, a certain new family member destroyed me. I was praying for that to go the way it did and I'm so happy it did.

Honestly, I love this series, and a part of me is broken that it has ended.

The narrator also did a really good job with this book, my only criticism is that some heart-wrenching scenes felt quite emotionless due to some of the narration choices/voice tones. Every other scene was done just fine however!
