Publisher's Summary

Stone Barrington is back, in fine form, in the newest thriller from the number one New York Times - best-selling author.

After a series of nonstop adventures, Stone Barrington is eager for some peace and quiet in a rustic British setting. But no sooner does he land in England than he’s beset by an outrageous demand from a beautiful lady, and an offer he can’t refuse.

Unfortunately, Stone quickly learns that his new acquisition comes with some undesired strings attached - namely, a deadly mystery involving the complex relationships of the local gentry, and a relentless adversary who raises the stakes with every encounter. Stone’s restful country vacation is looking like yet another troublesome situation, but with his tireless aplomb - and the help of a few friends - he is more than up to the challenge.

Pathetic!

There's a modest little story that takes place in the last hour of the book. It's not much of a story and the rest of the book is just a tedious account of the lives of the rich and famous. After reading every Stuart Woods in existence I've avoided the last one or two because they have gotten so bad. This one had a couple of good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. My mistake. Never again. Sorry Stuart but our relationship is officially over. My condolences to Tony Roberts for having to read this mess.

No substance at all

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No one would

What could Stuart Woods have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He starting to write like Danielle steel - stories about rich and rich people. The story line has no substance.

What didn’t you like about Tony Roberts’s performance?

Good

What character would you cut from Scandalous Behavior?

Susan

Any additional comments?

I used to like his books before he started portraying stone barrington as a manager

A rich Stone Barrington spending money.

Not much of a storyline. Just how he spends money and gets laid. I have been a fan for many many years. Not much on this book.

"Scandalous"? DEFINITELY!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

ONLY those that find being ridiculously and boringly "rich" warrants an "investment" of their time in reading/listening to this tripe.

What was most disappointing about Stuart Woods’s story?

I find it hard to believe Wood's actually wrote this waste of time and talent ... SO far from his norm. Talk about ZERO plot development and total disrespect for his fans and listeners.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tony Roberts?

Hey, Roberts is certainly capable of emoting but after all, ANY narrator can only do SO much with the words put in his mouth.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Scandalous Behavior?

Hmmmm? How 'bout the ENTIRE book?

Any additional comments?

PLEASE, Mr Woods, no more of this "I'm so rich" crap. What IS this? YOUR life's story?

Where is Stone Barrington?

The first three hours were of this guy they called Stone B going on a shopping spree. No real action or suspense. I kept listening hoping that the "REAL" Stone Barrington would make an appearance. This was a waste of a credit and waste of time. 😴😲😫😥

Honestly I am pretty tolerant and love novels with good British characters but this book was absolutely stupefying! I couldn't finish it. So boring, so slow, unappealing characters, narration horrendous- bad accents and wooden tones. One of the worst audible books I have ever encountered.
