Publisher's Summary

Come for the vacation. Stay for the shenanigans!

Mermaids. Check.

Pirates, selkies, and demigods.

Check. Check. Check.

Come on an adventure with my mermaids and their unlikely heroes. Get three hilarious stories all in one big book!

Book 1 - Tallulah’s Temptation

Running a tourist trap for humans in the Bermuda Triangle had sounded like a fine plan - until it wasn’t. With the Sea Hags gunning for our island, I did what any desperate mermaid would do. I called for backup.

Unfortunately, they sent Pirate Doug, the scoundrel who pillaged our treasure along with my heart.

What in the Chicken of the Sea was I thinking?

Book 2 - Ariel’s Antics

What in a clam shell does a mermaid have to do to find true love?

Saving my island home is a must. However, the mission is to seek out the very selkie who stole my heart, the same asshat whose Johnson I’d tried to truncate.

Ask any tuna you happen to see. Who’s the craziest mermaid? That would be me.

Book 3 - Misty’s Mayhem

What’s love got to do with it? If you’re Cupid, everything. If you’re me, not a thing in the sea.

I don’t believe in love. Poseidon is smoking some bad seaweed if he expects me to take the one job I’m obviously not qualified for...the god of love.

Stay tuned because I’m about to give love a bad name.

Good narrators...

I could not finish it. I've never, not finished a book, audio or traditional.

This book might be for you if you're looking for a plethora of new and exciting ways to describe a schlong. Like, many, many, many ways. I think I heard about 24840 names for pirate privates in the first 30 minutes.

Pros: Good narrators even dealing with let's say mostly below deck material.
Humorous...mostly raunchy fun bits but still some comedy there.

Cons: No plot. No character development. Nothing mind grabbing. The most interesting character is the parrot.

I'm all for a mindless mind candy book but this was not even that. It was maybe the brightly colored wrapper that catches your eye as it lays next to the overflowing trash can. Looks interesting...no substance.

But if you just wanna hear about schlongs, dongs, the women who love them, go for it!

Nothing but Sex and Language

I was so disappointed. I've liked other Peteran books but these are just an excuse for the "f" bomb and sex. Little story line - and what there is of it gets lost. Seems very juvenile - with a very adult language. I bought both volumes and didn't get through the first one before I deleted them both. I would have been embarrassed to have anyone hear me listening to these!

Horrible

These stories seem to have been written by a teenaged boy. Every juvenile name for penis appears in the first 10 minutes. If Beavis and Butthead got together with the Mean Girls to write a book, this is that book.

A hilarious and fun collection of sea romances

This series from Robyn Peterman is just plain fun, with loads of jokes, laughs and outrageousness. The funny is plentiful in these stories.

There are 3 stories in total, each following a different mermaid sister as she finds true love with another immortal being. Each book as two separate narrators, and all of the narrators do a great job of expressing the funny and taking you on a wild ride. My absolute favorite of the three was Tallulah's Temptation, narrated by Shane East and Amanda Ronconi. Shane East even does a great job as a foul-mouthed parrot in this tale.

If you're looking for fun, fun, and more fun, this is a great pick up!

Funny but not to deep

This is for the three books combined. I didn’t care for the first book much. Very little story line a whole lot of Johnson talk and what seemed like a competition for the more names a person my call a mans junk. The whole series has a serious obsession with the man tool but it becomes less prominent in. Like two and three. Those book have a better story line more depth and tons of snark. I love peterman for her sarcasm, witty comebacks and foul mouthed characters. This gets better as the series continues and I really liked the third book the best. The narrators did a great job except the voice of the bird lol. If your looking for a funny beach read to escape the day but not be taken to seriously this would probably be a great series for you.

Don't waste your credit.

i usually like Robyn Peterman's book. Not this series. The women are vapid with nothing on their minds but getting laid. Maybe having a child down the road. Who would want these women as moms? At least their smarter than the men. Thry care only for themselves & how many words can there be for male privates? Many, many, many words. It was extremely repetitive. i'm guessing this must be part of Robyn's early work before she learned how to develop characters. Save yourself a waste oftime & credit.

Wouldn't recommend it, sorry

usually I love Robyn Peterman's books, but this one couldn't hold my interest. the characters lacked intelligence, and there didn't seem to be anything redeeming about them. the stories didn't really create interest, like they were written by a ghost writer.

The funniest

Hilarious, even for short stories they were funny and to the point. I didn't feel as though I was missing any of the back story either.
