My heart is bursting with love and want

Killian is one of the best characters there is. Jacob Morgan has narrated this book excellently. I have listened to this book 6 or 7 times in a row. I know there are several love stories I have listened to but for some reason this one got to my heart. Killian is wonderful. I would have liked to hear more of what the poachers were thinking but all in all 5 stars for this book. I can hardly wait to listen to Owens story and I hope Jacob narrates this book also. Jacob brings all the books I have listen to come to life for me. He is the greatest of all the men narrator’s I have listen to. He makes all the books worth listening to. This story was fantastic. Oh and he speaks French wow wish there was more. THANK YOU
PS: now that I have listened to it again Hanna really bugs me misses I can do everything myself and she could have told Killian what was up. I still love the story but only because of Killian.

suspense with passion

For the first few hours i couldn't stop listening. Eventually, the suspense turned into a simmer (half way) and i got a little bored but decided to finish anyway. The pace picked up again and I am glad i didn't give it up. I like the use of a different accent. one of the down sides is that the male narrator just couldn't do the different females well. the female narrator was great! that is how i found this book because of her. so, overall, it's a fun read with a little extra kick to it!

Just Enough of What You Want in Romance

I read the reviews and was uncertain about liking it. There didn’t seem to be a lot of big action which I love or super steamy scenes based on the comments. But, as it turns out there were realistic action scenes and the love story unfolds at the right pace for a pair that had been dancing around each other for more than a year. The sex scenes were perfect and fit in naturally to the story. Overall, I’d say the story was good, the characters were real and I enjoyed the we entire book, from beginning to end. The narration was great.

Beginning was pretty solid but…

Then after the rescue it’s pretty boring. Then wow, after the culprits are caught it’s downright sleep-inducing. Like “we cook this, the we eat, then we take the dirty dishes to the sink, then I wash while he brings wood in, then & then. Oh, side note: who works in wildlife rescue in the middle of nowhere woods/mountains & doesn’t have a first aid kit? Zero love angst & the relationship was like whatever. And absolutely no twists or turns or clever anything unfortunately. The narration was good except that the female read the male parts with a Cajun accent & refers to it very often but then the male doesn’t. It’s not a big deal it’s just annoying. Had so much potential

Bit of a disappointment

I decided to try a new author mainly on the fact that Jacob Morgan voices and I love his voice. He did not disappoint. Callie Dalton, however was. She just didn’t cut it for me. The story was a bit weak, so maybe it wasn’t totally her fault. I doubt I’ll follow through with this author. But will see what else Jacob Morgan does…

Super boring

Wow I fast forwarded through most because I really wanted to see if it got better. I bought it because Jacob Morgan but damn even he couldn’t save this book. To sun it up, Hannah doesn’t listen to instinct or the weather. She runs from poachers, falls, gets hurt and saved by a guy that works for her brother. They move in together, he quits his job and her boss sexually harasses her.
The end. Jesus super boring.

Wow loved

The dual narration of Jacob Morgan and Callie Dalton , makes this a brilliant listening experience.

Killian is McIntyre Security’s best tracker, he’s also completely in love with Hannah. But she has not even shown any feelings but friendship, but she has had a big crush on him for a long time. When Hannah is checking for poachers, she finds a pair , she gets seriously hurt when escaping them. Killian is sent to find her. Oh the chemistry between them.

Loved this story. Action , romance and steam . Perfect.

Great Story!

I've read and loved all April's books. Killian and Hannah's book was hotly anticipated and didn't disappoint. I always like to listen to my favourite books on audio, and Jacob Morgan and Callie Dalton did an amazing job of bringing Killian and Hannah to life. This was the first in the Search and Rescue spin off series of the McIntyre Security series. I can't wait for more!

Loved this book!

I was gifted this book (thank you April!) and absolutely loved it!
I have previously read some of April’s books and thoroughly enjoyed them, I tend to listen more than read so when I got the opportunity to listen to this one I dove straight in and devoured it!
It did not disappoint either, the narration was spot on and I enjoyed having the dual narration.
Would highly recommend

5 Stars for this new series!

Search and Rescue, narrated by Jacob Morgan and Callie Dalton is the first book in a new series and this is Hannah and Killian’s story. It takes place in a small town in the Rocky Mountains where Hannah goes missing and it’s up to Killian to find her. Will he find her in time? Good, developed characters, fast paced plot and love & etc.. It was my first book by April Wilson and I just LOVED it. I highly recommend it. Two narrators that made the story come alive. They are awesome.
Now I’m looking forward to Owen and Maggie’s story to be released on Audible!
