Excellent story. Outstanding narration.

I didn’t think the first book could be topped. I almost didn’t get this book because I thought it would have to be contrived to carry on the first story. But I was deeply wrong. This was incredible. Indescribably imaginative. The narration was perfect.

This writer is really great and the narrator does an amazing job. Really great duo! Looking forward to the next book which I'm about to start right meow.

Excellent Performance by Christopher Ryan Grant

A great follow-up to First Life (The River Saga Book One). More is revealed about the various alien cultures and the plans within plans to bring Earth into a muli-species alliance. The objective for the apparent invasion of Earth is 'for their own good'. A number of revelations come to light as the characters backstory are examined via flashback chapters that fill in gaps in the story. Like me, you may wonder if there is any way to save humanity.
I'm looking foward to reading Third Party, book 3 of 4 of The River Saga. Once again the Audible performance by Christopher Ryan Grant was excellent.

A wonderful series

This series has more twists and turns than the Nurburgring race course. Fantastic story. Characters I love, characters I love to hate, great pacing, and a wonderful narration. This has quickly become one of my favorite series. The only problem is the depression of hearing 'Audible hopes you have enjoyed this program' and knowing I have to wait a month for the release of the next book on Audible.

Don't even think. Just buy the series.

Unreadable

I liked the first book, this one is a mess. So many story lines but none make any sense. New characters getting introduced constantly. What is Zeno, why are the barges and domes being built, are the aliens good or bad, is Indie good or bad? When every character is questionable then you lose patience with all of it.

Keep it coming

Great complexities in the storyline. There are some loose ends that have me anxious to hear more of this story.

Had to stop in the middle

Narrator is fine. Maybe give some of his other books a chance.

The story is just all over the place. Author mixes up "intergalactic" for "interstellar" all the time. Characters never explain themselves and leave it to "mystery". One of the main characters at keeps asking why everyone is so secretive. They either never answer, or in one case the other character passes out. The author seems to thing this is good story telling and mystery building. Its not. Its just annoying.

Can't wait for book 3!

The plot twists and turns....so many are not who they seem which makes Book1 a bit hard to believe in hindsight. BUT, it is a great and interesting story!
I just cannot understand why Indy killed Ambrose?!!! Let us pray that question is answered in the final book!

River Saga, a great read.

I have read this book and now listened to it and thoroughly enjoyed it in both formats. Looking forward to book three (in both formats!).
