Publisher's Summary

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author M. Robinson comes a standalone best friend’s baby sister, second chance billionaire romance.

She was my best friend's little sister, which meant she was off limits, but I couldn’t help myself. I never could when it came to her, and in the end, I left town and made something of my myself.

Ten years later and I'm one of the richest men in the world. I have everything I ever wanted...except for her.

Little did I know, life would give me a second chance to make things right by her. She's now suddenly my publicist, treating me as if I'm nothing more than another client, when I stole all her firsts. Including her heart. I need to take matters into my own hands, so I'm making her an offer she can't refuse.

She's signed a contract stating that for the next 10 days…. She's mine.

Levels of torment and angst so delicious!!!

M.Robinson never disappoints with her intense levels of detail and complex feelings and compassion with her POV's of both hero and herione with lots of twist and surprises. It was an incredible ride! 👏🏽 😍 And Omg the sexy voice of Tor shivered me timbers. Meg was also Perfection. I just love the fire 🔥 banter they had. Autumn was no pushover, she went toe to toe with Mr. Alpha Julian and I was cheering her on. I love M.Robinson's sexy af writing style....it gives all the feels. I walk away full, but wanting more. Bring it on, I'm here for it.

Enough with the arguments

They fight the whole story. It was a little much for me. Over all I loved the story but all they do is fight.

Fun! Fun! Fun!

Second chances don't come easily and this one is no exception. M Robinson takes a break from her dark romances to give us this lighter, fun listen of Autumn and Julian. Autumn is Julian's best friend's sister, so she is definitely off limits. Watching her grow up with the the stars twinkling in her eyes towards him, with teenage beauty wears him down. He always has been attracted to her, but now he has crossed the line. Breaking her heart is the only answer. Now 10 years later, Julian is in a position of power, and is ready to show Autumn just what he can give to her. But is she willing to take the chance? Will that contract bind her to his company and his heart? And is her secret going to be too much for this entrepreneur? I enjoyed this story, from start to finish. I love the alpha male Julian is. I love watching him grow and mature, and see how he evolves with his shaky childhood and influence of Autumn's parents. Autumn is quite the woman too, ambitious and steadfast, her resolve may be hard to break. This was a great listen, and I am looking forward to the next in this series.

Tor Thom and Meg Sylvan narrate this gem. Thom is the perfect pick for Julian. He can play a broken man so well, emotional and dark. He can also pull out all the stops when it comes to love! His voice is smooth as butter. Sylvan brings out all the feelings in Autumn. She has an incredible way of pulling at our emotions and she drives Autumn with her nuances letting us know exactly where she stands. This is a great pairing of narrators and a wonderful performance.

I HAD TO SPEED IT UP TO GET THROUGH IT

I’m sorry, I usually love M Robinson’s books but sadly this time the whole plot just fell flat with me.. I just couldn’t connect with the hero or heroine at all and there were a lot of angst between them as the chapters, in their ten year past, revealed what a hurtful scumbag Julian had been. He broke Autumn’s tender heart and then walked away leaving devastation, love and family behind. In the present, he is a rich, entitled, asshole who plays dirty to get his woman back.. but sadly I wasn’t invested in them.. or in their happily ever after. I love the redemption of a bad-boy anti-hero but unfortunately my feelings never warmed to Julian.

Worth a credit? Early on I kinda knew this listen wasn’t for me.. however, I did persevere hoping for a connection, but sadly I just never felt it in the flawed storyline. So no, for me, this wasn’t creditworthy.. but I’ll still definitely keep buying her books.

The only redeeming part of this book: the narrators.

Misogynistic & abusive come to mind. Author doesn't understand "No means no."

Lots of triggers.

So disappointing.

Thats 6 hours i wont get back.

Sigh.

Not my favorite but not bad

I liked the idea of the story more than I liked the actual story. I wish the male characters thoughts line up more with what he said. It felt like 2 completely different characters. I know he wanted to push her away but it got old. I love a good asshole man but only when they redeem themselves. It felt like that didn’t happen until the last chapter. Also felt kinda strange that her having a child wasn’t mentioned until over half way through. Not even from her POV, like not even once that I remembered.
Overall I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either.

I don't get it.

I don't get their love, at all! She was whiny and He was a jerk. She was desperate and he was selfish. I had to skip through to move on from ridiculous issues she forgave him for. I just don't get it.
