Story
We're in the middle of an epidemic of average. So-called "normal" people get up every day, go to work, do what's asked of them, leave promptly at five, and return home to sit on the couch and watch TV. Society tells us that this is what it means to lead a balanced life. Don't stress too much or work too hard. Your career isn't everything. But Grant Cardone thinks this preoccupation with balance has really just given an excuse to be mediocre.

You think if only you had willpower like other people, life would be different. Everything would change. But You Are Wrong. Will isn’t something you have or don’t. It’s not genetic or gifted to you. It has to be developed. Strengthened like a muscle, built like an athlete from amateur to pro. It’s not about having the “right stuff.” This is about training.

Well, if you, too, have ever felt like this in your life...don't worry, I know perfectly how you felt. That's because I asked myself these questions before you did. Publisher's Summary
"With self-discipline, all things are possible. Without it, even the simplest goal can seem like the impossible dream." (Theodore Roosevelt)
Imagine how different your life would be if you knew a way to hack your daily habits to become a highly self-disciplined and productive person.
This audiobook contains proven steps and strategies on how to start leading a more successful life through improving self-discipline and confidence.
In the modern day in which we live, we all want to be successful. Either we are working jobs that we don’t enjoy or we are wishing we would move on and better ourselves, or we need to lose weight, or achieve this, that, or the next thing.
In this audiobook you'll learn:
- Productivity and discipline hacks
- How to gain the upper hand
- What you lose to your lack of self-discipline
- So much more!
If you are suffering from not having self-control in your life, then you know what it is like to continually be disappointed with yourself. When you don't feel you have control over your decisions, your self-confidence also struggles. Also, each time you give in and lose willpower and make the wrong decision, you lose a little bit of yourself. After all, if a friend told you over and over again that he or she would do something but over and over again they didn't follow through with it, chances are you would stop believing them. This also applies to you every time you don't follow through with a decision or choice you tell yourself - you can't be trusted to reach your outcome! Obviously, this is not what we want.
So, if you are ready to go all-in with proven strategies for self-discipline, then you will not want to miss out on listening to this audiobook.
One of the things that could help you ultimately develop your self-discipline is to know that you can get something great out of it. Realizing its benefits before you begin in your journey is a good motivational factor that will help you stick to what you have started.

great book for Self Discipline.
Self-Discipline can be a tricky thing. For both my clients and me, it’s often the thing we fight against the most but when we have it in any aspect of our life, we are the happiest. This book not only explained this phenomenen but gave some simple yet powerful insight into how change is possible. As elusive as self-discipline can be, I felt for the first time it’s doable.

I found this book so helpful that I purchased it for all the mothers in my playgroup. In helping parents to be kind but firm, assertive but not aggressive, compassionate but not permissive, Jane Nelson inspired me to be the parent I want to be. She helped me look to the root of my children's misbehavior and address what was causing my child to be unhappy rather than trying to just address the behavior.

A Whole-hearted 5 stars from me!
This is a powerful work that is both inspiring and uncomfortable to read. It is uncomfortable, if you are really thinking about it, because it presents a brutally honest level of self examination and uncompromising standard for self improvement. Paradoxically sufficient exposure also, in my case, had a calming effect in that it feels embarrassing, even comedic, to get so worked up about stuff

Incredibly Written .................
Straightforward advice in a well written and easy to understand style. Key points are listed at the end of each chapter, which makes it easy to go back and review. I've started to incorporate the key messages into my life and it's really been helpful in building up a daily exercise and meditation habit When reading this book it's content will cause you to see yourself and reflect not only what you may have been doing incorrectly but also how to make changes toward more positive personal attitudes Ray Grant Edwin 's book "Self-Discipline" is a is informative guide. Self-discipline goes by many names—self-control, sense of self-worth, and self-drive. They all point to the same fact: this person is in charge of themselves and knows how to utilize their inner strengths to get what they want out of life. Many people wonder why self-discipline is so important. They wonder why they cannot just go on as they have been going on all this time, whirling around in their merry little unorganized lives.

Practical tips enclosed for your daily routines that can help you improve. I like the book because it is short without useless text. I'd give this book 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend it to anyone who'd like to strengthen their resolve and get a bit more self-discipline in their lives. I've always been a goal setter, but my problem is that I'll switch gears half way towards accomplishing whatever goal I had set-- thereby not really accomplishing much at all.

Good motivation for me.
If you’re looking for the latest cutting-edge 6-step formula on how to reprogram your mind for success, and how to easily overcome laziness and procrastination – then do not buy this book. You’ll want to look elsewhere, as you won’t find it here. As someone who never followed or listened to Grant Edwin before and merely happened upon this book in a store, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It's perfect parts motivational and informative.

Simple Approach that Works Wonders
I love the fact that this book is broken into daily readings. I start each day reading a daily passage from this book. A lot of what's in this book really resonates with me and helps to give me a new or different perspective on forming self-discipline. I learned about this book from a friend who, in my opinion, is self-disciplined. In this short but very useful book,Grant Edwin gives us the keys to the kingdom. Well not exactly the kingdom but to a good life filled with all the things we want. The key is discipline and the key to discipline is habit. Habits as Grant Edwin lays out clearly and simply are the daily things we can do to nudge us along and keep us in line with our North Star (the long term picture). His approach will help even the most undisciplined find a simple way to keep on track for the long hall.
