This book is a philosophical, logical, practical and scientifically sound study of self-acceptance and its psychotherapy applications.

Great for use in therapy.

Purchased for my teen. Appreciates that it is interactive but wishes the activities were clearer. However, teenager is using it and is finding it helpful so I think that is a plus over other self-help workbooks out there for adolescents

Best book I ever bought

I truly enjoy this workbook. It’s practical, useful, and it simplifies what confidence really means as opposed to what most people perceive it to be; superficial and physical. I highly recommend this workbook to anyone who is seeking to strengthen this area of their life, I think you’ll find it helpful.

Exceptionally well written with good examples

I particularly like this book because it has many exercises to help the reader explore and tame their "inner critic" as well as to increase the reader's awareness and transform their thinking. Awareness is the first step to personal transformation. this really helped me get through an emotionally difficult time. WONDERFUL listen, there is hope yet. The exercises don't seem forced/ silly. Really, the most helpful book I own.

improve your Self Esteem!

This book changed my life so much last year I bought it as gifts for people this year. It helps stop negative thoughts and helps you love yourself. I feel like it helped me build a healthy self esteem from scratch. It’s helped better all my relationships. I didn’t realize how much my auto response was to think negative and it was rarely true.

This is the best book I have ever listen on the subject! If I could, I'd make it required reading for every young parent, teacher, youth worker, and any leader that has influence over how children are being relisten . It's not what you may think from the title--it's the truth!

concise, direct advice

! He has become one of my favorite authors on self-confidence, and motivation. This book is really simple and to the point. The book is very powerful in making you really believe in yourself, and great daily exercises to make them stick. I have gotten a lot form this book, and you will too

I never thought of self esteem like this

There was a lot of food for thought in this fast, compact listen. I was initially intrigued by the description of the book because I never heard of positive affirmations as being counterproductive to healthy self esteem. Regardless, though it's a quick listen, I look forward to listen it several times over because there are a lot of gems. Thanks for this book! We needed a non sugar-coated book on self-esteem.

Awesome And Interactive!

This book is absolutely amazing. Usually during a child’s middle school years there self- esteem is usually not the greatest. However, this book will change that. I will make an impact, trust me! It is very helpful and very well written. There aren’t many books out there but this one is special in its own way.
