Tad misleading
This audiobook was not narrated by dale carnegie. Its misleading. However, although not base entirely on dale carnegie's teaching. It has stated some good learning points. I dont fully agree with all the teacings but has still picked up some things.

DALE CARNEGIE ORGANIZATION: recommended
I am interested in marketing, psychology, behavioral economics etc. I listened to quite a few tapes from THE DALE CARNEGIE ORGANIZATION (and no, it's not the man Dale Carnegie in person) and they compare favorably with not only the age-old Dale Carnegie tapes, but with the best Behavioral Economics books. They brought old Carnegie materials in line with the new millennium. Some people may scoff at the advice imparted in these tapes as simplistic, but I can assure you that most of us, if not all of us, have at some point or another been taken for a swift ride by politicians, love interests, clergymen and salespeople who deftly applied such tactics, so be forewarned.

i bought ot because it is "narrated by dale carnegie" this is not true. its narrated by several ppl, who repeat same thing multiple times. theres nothing new. just what you would hear from other sales training audiobooks. it should be worth $5, yet its $30. i would have never bought it if I wasn't mislead on who the narrator and author was

Dull, monotonous, trite.
This book seems very dated, the main narrator drones on reading what is essentially a list of trite how-to actions with no examples. Aimed at the corporate salesperson selling to other corporations. Of little relevance to anyone like me selling to consumers. Unusually for me I stopped part way in, it just bored me.
