"Freaking" awesome

Book number seven in this amazing series. For this book we step outside the Ferraro family to read Elie Archambault 's story. Having screwed up his chances to be with the woman truly meant for him, Elie agrees to an arranged marriage. He simply signs the papers not even looking at the name of the bride to be. At the ceremony for show, as the two are already married by proxy, Elie discoverers his bride is none other than the very woman he wronged and hurt years ago. How can it be, as he searched for her wanting to explain things and ask her forgiveness . After losing her appeal to end the marriage, the two set out to make the best of it as Elie is determined to stay married to Brielle. When Brielle ends up the target of assassins, all the families, Ferraro, Saldi and Archambault, ban together to ferret out her enemies and bring justice to them. Filled with humor, lots of action and steamy sex scenes, this is a wild read. And the ending ..... you'll just have to read it yourself.

🌻I love every book narrated by Jim Frangione!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

This book was much like the previous released, in this series. As a matter of fact, all of the books, in this series had an almost identical plot. I didn’t care, however, I’ve always liked “ Vigilante justice” type stories and I’ve really liked these characters.

Be aware that this entire series contains violence, sexual abuse, mental abuse, BDSM sexual scenes, but also, strong family relationships and heart felt emotions between the H/h. Almost always, both the Hero and the Heroine have personal demons they must conquer before their HEA!

There were some elements, during the intimate scenes that had me rolling my eyes but, this was fantasy and romance, so it wasn’t surprising.

The real treat is the narration of Jim Frangione. I’ve probably listened to a hundred books he has narrated and he can make an average book a treat!

Thanks Mr Frangione!

Fantastic Series!

This book was so great! I’m so happy that Elie got to marry “the girl”. Christine Feehan is amazing!
I like to re-listen to the whole series when a new book comes out so I’ll remember what was happening. 😁 Narration, as always, was spot on!
Here’s to hoping the the book gives Dario the woman of his dreams. 🥂 #audiblejunkie💗🎧💗

Too much!!!

I understand that we, as humans, are each different with lifestyles which are unique. I just rather not dwell on all the uniqueness in some of Christine Feehan's Stories. Sorry.

Well damn

I have enjoyed Jim Frangione’s narrations, I have loved the shadow rider stories. The love stories have always been there. This time I couldn’t deal with the kink and that was on me. Sorry. Not sorry. If I could skip it, it’d be a 5 like the others.

Good story line

I am not into pain, so I couldn't get too much into the story of Elie and Brielle because of it. That said; the rest of the book was pretty good, exciting and had plenty of action. I do love it when the good guys win. And the fact that the story talks about something that is actually affecting our society makes us want to be the ones saving and or rescuing every child, teen, women or men trapped by such disgusting a$$wipes.
I am giving the performance 2 stars and that's generous because, I really had to listen to some parts 5 or more times just to make sure I was listening correctly and there was a fight or argument and not a walk on the park. Mr. Frangione reads the books aloud, but is just that, reading!! I couldn't get into the story because there was no inflection for certain parts; well, actually for the entire book really.
There are so many books I've listened to, and so many other narrators, who actually make me stop and pay more attention because of their tone of voice and how much they pull me into the story.
I might have to just buy the books and read them myself and save money. The reason I buy the audiobooks from Christine Feehan is because they are full of excitement, but if I am going to get this type of monotonous reading I might as well do it myself and save $11 or more per book.
I really hope they get some other narrator or narrators to do the audiobooks.

Not My Woman!

Wow! Just wow. This book was as intense and exciting as the previous ones. I love the narration and the action. It’s scary though because of the depravity in the last couple of books and I’m cheering on the demise of people! Lol
