Publisher's Summary

Sliding Doors meets Life After Life in Sarah Adlakha's story about a wife and mother who is given the chance to start over at the risk of losing everything she loves.

A second chance is the last thing she wants.

When 39-year-old Maria Forssmann wakes up in her 17-year-old body, she doesn’t know how she got there. All she does know is she has to get back: to her home in Bienville, Mississippi, to her job as a successful psychiatrist and, most importantly, to her husband, daughters, and unborn son.

But she also knows that, in only a few weeks, a devastating tragedy will strike her husband, a tragedy that will lead to their meeting each other.

Can she change time and still keep what it’s given her?

Exploring the responsibilities love lays on us, the complicated burdens of motherhood, and the rippling impact of our choices, She Wouldn't Change a Thing is a dazzling debut from a bright new voice.

Really made me think.

First off, great narrator.

Possible spoilers:

This book has a main character that has an incredibly believable reaction to time travel. Lots of other TT books feature characters that just kinda accept it or have done it before? Anyway, it was really good.

The book made me really think and reflect on decisions I had made in my life and if I would change things if I had a chance to go back. The way the world changed was interesting.

Hopeful and fulfilling

The author has done a fantastic job of keeping the story intriguing without incorporating too much medical jargon or scenario when an author has a background in the specialty they include. Very excited about her next book. I can’t wait to see what George does. Worth the buy.

Very Religious

The narrator is very good and the story seems interesting, but it is VERY Christian religion-based. I returned it when they started citing bible verses. I'm into spiritual, just not religion.

Very enjoyable!

I found the character and her life/lives very relatable. I love the movie sliding doors, so the mention in the summary initially attracted me to the book. It had my attention throughout.
