Publisher's Summary

We've all got our issues! Maybe you feel like life just isn't going your way, or you're afraid that you don't measure up to other people's expectations. Perhaps you have a hard time managing your temper or have someone in your life you just can't forgive. We deal with our "issues" every day in one form or another; the problem is, after a while, they start to feel... normal. Unchanging. Just part of who we are. And we forget that we have access to the power of Christ - a power that can transform our everyday weaknesses into our greatest strengths and gifts.

In She's Got Issues, Christian counselor, ministry leader, and regular mom Nicole Unice explores the ordinary issues that are keeping you from the full and free life you were meant to have. Applying years of counseling with practical scriptural teaching and a fresh and authentic voice, Nicole shows you how to let God freely shape your character and transform your life from ordinary to abundant.

Disappointed

Self help or dwelling from a very Godly standpoint. Really wanted something more like “You Are The Guru” - that was great! This one…. Pass.

Recommended read

I enjoyed listening to this book as read by the author. She has a great way of guiding the reader through her book as a study guide with many great examples of how to apply what she is teaching or sharing. I finished feeling great about my time spent listening to and following and applying the study recommendations along the way.

Goes to the heart of modern Christianity

This book is marketed to Christian women, but Christian men would be able to see themselves in many of these illustrations. Great use of scripture!

Love it.

At first, I was soooo mad, because she mentioned her cabbage doll or whatever, but then I stop myself. It was not her fault that I was born in a family with extreme poverty. I learned today from this audiobook. Thank you.

Less and less

The more I read the less and less I felt compelled to control things in everyday life. God has so much to help us and this book was an amazing help and assistant to Gods grace compassion and mercy

A book you’ll want to revisit.

The way I know a book is good is that, while reading/listening, I feel compelled to make sure I return to the material in the future. This book definitely gave me the sense that it was worth revisiting.

I pray that God give me the same passion for The Good Book.

I loved it & boy did it hit home.

The author is right when she says we all have issues. She takes us through steps in how to recognize what our issues are as a knowledgeable counselor, then proceeds to tell us how to help ourselves. An interesting point she made is keeping a journal is like talking to a counselor since it gets everything out of your system & into your view. There are many things we realize about ourselves by setting down and just writing out all your feelings on paper....Mostly a since of relief from writing it all down. Take the journey of self discovery with her.
