Publisher's Summary

The host of Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight offers a blistering critique of the new American ruling class, the elites of both parties, who have taken over the ship of state, leaving the rest of us, the citizen-passengers, to wonder: How do we put the country back on course?

Read if you want to hear about how ridiculous the ruling elite are

. I rarely read or listen to non-fiction books on the political climate of America. I get my news left, right and center and try to find the truth. I’m not a regular watcher of Fox nor CNN. Truthfully I listen to talk radio (from NPR to KFI). I found myself, as a moderate (and a scientist) agreeing with basically every single element of this book. I’m now looking for an article that tries to find reasons to disagree.
Overall his voice played well in the car and in headphones during runs. It was the right tempo without having to speed it up or slow it down. The writing was straight forward and yes, I laughed, gasped, hit my steering wheel and yelled with agreement while running, driving, making dinner, washing dishes, and cleaning the house. I have recommend this book to my friends and family. My 18 year old son even loved listening one night while I cooked. It sparked a great 45 minute dinner conversation. Thank you Tucker Carlson.

common sense opinions

Tucker hits home with his facts and opinions regarding how healthy societies stay healthy. I agree with Tucker that the democratic party and the Republican party have always kept each other in check and despite differences, we had far more in common with each other and for the most part we were civil to each other.....we have strayed so far from this dynamic that I'm actually nervous about sharing my opinion now.....and that's not good....

Not what I expected!

Tucker Carlson hit it out of the park with this book. I’m a independent voter. I could careless about either major party. This book really points the fingers at who/what’s to blame for Trump, and how things are not going to get better unless we have change, and change is not what our ruling class wants. The ruling class is not who you expected and politicians are the puppets. Great read!

Sextuple dose Tucker Carlson Tonight.

In a modern dysfunctional society where individuals are no longer free to think for themselves, they are discouraged from thinking or acting as individual. Creativity or individual responsibilities are suppressed if they aren’t a part of a group think, but there are still individuals out there, speaking and thinking for themselves. Tucker Carlson, the sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness and group think.

Now, if you are familiar with the television program that bears his name, Tucker Carlson Tonight, with this book you are getting his journalistic unbiased approach to daily political topics. We live in a world, where it is almost impossible to avoid politics. If you have in the past, you might as well start paying attention, and this would be the right place to start, with this book, similar to the nightly series, but uninterrupted in a book form. It gives the illustration of the political climate in the United States and how it relates to the Average citizens and the ruling class, the damages it has cause and maybe the path to restore common sense and stability.

Hopefully, saving the Ship of fools, from falling over the edge, to destruction.

thanks tucker

i’m a traditional free-speech, anti-war liberal who has always had a healthy mistrust of the elites. but apparently now i’m a nazi or white supremacist or something.

tucker is a true patriot and perhaps the last clear thinker on the mainstream media. i don’t agree with him on everything, but i think he truly cares about finding the truth and about making the world a better place for everyone.

my main issue is that in his appropriate critique of the modern, liberal, institutionalized approach to environmentalism, he’s thrown out the baby with the bath water. i am convinced that humanity *is* disrupting delicate climate balances; it’s just that the liberal approach and solution is obviously idiotic. but maybe i’m wrong.

tucker if you’re reading this, you’re the fucking man and a great american.

Maybe it gets better later, but I couldn't finish.

The author made some valid points, but when I got to the plane crash scenario and his opinion that elites (in this case liberals) would blame the crash on racists, I stopped.

The author paints with a broad brush and writes in caricatures, disregarding the subtle and complicated realities of people and situations and the times we live in.

I returned this book.

No matter what your political persuasion happens to be—this book is a “must read.”

I live in Silicon Valley, California. 75% of people in my upscale hometown did not and could never fathom voting for Donald Trump. Don’t let the fact that the author is Tucker Carlson—who has a nightly show on Fox—scare you away. This book is nothing like what you might think. Don’t miss it.

Great book

Tucker can really cut to the truth about many subjects. Going to read again, I bought audible and hard back to have in my book shelf as a reference book.
