Well-Designed French Language Short Stories

I was totally happy with this audiobook of French language short stories. It was at a level that I could understand and learn from. The speakers spoke slowly and enunciated clearly. This audiobook was a big help for me in my journey to learning to communicate in the French language.

Very good learning tool

I have been learning languages for 45 years and teaching them fir over 25 years. I own just about everything Olly Richards has produced. The combination of the text and audio is very effective, and Olly has really worked at delivering quality products.

Great stories in French

I loved the narration, the stories, as well as the vocabulary list. Interesting stories and they were perfect for my level of French. I am intermediate in French. Great for supplementing my French studies at school.

Great learning tool!

Really enjoyed this one. I bought the hard copy book and would read each chapter and them follow up with listening to each one with audible as I read along. It really helped and I learned a lot throughout the course of the book/audible. The stories are actually interesting and well written as well and I found myself looking forward to reading them each weekend. The audible narrator is also excellent. The only confusing thing is that it isn’t clear in audible that the accompanying pdf only contains each chapter synopsis and quiz (not the whole story). So, the audible version does not contain the entire book, you would need to buy that separately as I did if you want to read along. Would also be helpful to include chapter headings in audible (instead of just numbers). Here they are:
1-4 = La Ratatouille Folle
5-7 = La Creature
8-10 = Le Chevalier
11-13 = La Montreal
14-16 = Le Coffre
17-19 = Terres Inconnues
20-22 = Laure, la femme invisible
23-25 = La Capsule

Not for levels A1 and A2.

These stories are not for levels A1 and A2. You have to have at least knowledge of B1 levels. There is no PDF of actual story and you cannot listen to the story and follow the text. The PDF actually offers short summary of the story, vocabulary and a quiz. The stories have no title and are not separated, so it is difficult to go back to the beginning of the story, or find where you left off last time.
