Publisher's Summary
Kaylie Snow has always been the fun, flirty, pretty sister. Now her burgeoning baby bump, hormone-infused emotions, and faltering singing career are sending her into an unexpected identity crisis. Watching her older sister, Danica, glide through a major career change and a new relationship with the grace of a ballerina, Kaylie's insecurities rise to the forefront - and her relationship with fiancé Chaz Crew is caught in the crossfire.
Chaz Crew has everything he's ever wanted: a lovely fiancée, a baby on the way, and soon the film festival he owns will host its biggest event ever. When he's called away to woo the festival's largest sponsor - and the lover he's never admitted to having - secrets from his past turn his new life upside down.
With her baby shower around the corner and her fiancé's big event looming, the pressure is on for Kaylie to pull herself together - and for Chaz to right his wrongs. In a few short weeks, the couple who had it all figured out will learn things about life and love that may change their minds - and their hearts.
Sisters in Bloom is part of the Love in Bloom series. While Sisters in Bloom can be listened to as a standalone novel, for even more listening enjoyment you may want to listen to the entire Love in Bloom series in order.

AudioBook Review:
Stars: Overall 4 Naration 4 Story 4
Fast forward a bit, and we have Kylie’s story as she navigates through pregnancy hormones, a slowdown in her own career and a bit of a rough patch with her fiancé, Chaz. Not a particularly introspective character, all of these changes have Kylie worried about EVERYTHING, and the doubts are creeping in.
Chaz has a big film festival coming up, and he thinks his life is going along beautifully. Nothing is better than his fiancée and new baby on the way, and this film could mean big things for them all. But the one regret in his life has suddenly reappeared, and the existence of this woman isn’t something he ever shared with her.
Now with Kylie at a low point, a past fling that won’t stay that way and the stress and nerves around the film festival and things are just heating up.
Foster uses a combination of character development, communication and fears that are very real, if sometimes groundless, to build the story and give it teeth. Chaz is a wonderful and steady influence for Kylie, and while their love is obvious they both cling to insecurities and issues from their pasts. Insets from Danica (Kylie’s sister) and her relationship trials in her own life, and the visit from her mother all play to the issues both of the sisters have in their own lives. Issues that their mother’s influence (and some actual common sense) allow them to move forward in their own lives, allowing the past to settle.
Narration is provided by B.J. Harrison, and as I thought with the first in this series, a clever choice of narrator. There is a bit more angst and tension in this story, and Harrison’s ability to present the emotional overtones in the story without overreach or overacting. While character voices are distinct, they do not tip over the line to caricature or overly emoted, and the story is richer for that.
A great installment in the Snow Sisters series, I’m curious to get to the weddings..

Aural amazement
Sisters in Bloom is the 2nd installment of Melissa Foster’s “Love In Bloom”. I enjoyed this story with Kailey Snow and Chaz Crew. The characters were well-developed. They are also fun, smart, beautiful, and quite sexy. Melissa is great at writing between-the-sheets scenes and they are so HOT. BJ Harrison is the narrator for the audio version. I love the voice of BJ Harrison. It is smooth, sensual, and provides an aural sensation of the HOTTEST kind.

Sweet and Emotional Romance!
I really enjoyed Kaylie and Chaz's sweet, and emotional story. Kaylie pregnant and engaged to be married to Chaz Crew. They are both excited to have everything they ever wanted and can't wait to make a life together. But when Kaylie's music career stalls out with her baby bump showing, her insecurities of being enough for Chaz, a new mother, and not singing, puts extreme pressure on her, Chaz, and their relationship. Chaz has his own difficulties finding sponsors for his film festival, especially when someone is trying to take over. I loved how supportive and swoony Chaz was, and how Kaylie and he worked toward resolving lifes up and downs together. The growth of their relationship, how they helped each other grow stronger, felt so honest and relatable. I also enjoyed catching up with Danica and Blake as well. This heartfelt, and charming story is filled with witty banter, quirky characters, awkward situations, and fiery chemistry. I enjoyed B.J. Harrison' narration. His voice is smooth yet expressive, setting each scene beautifully, and bringing these characters and story to life, making this a captivating listen.

Kaylie & Chaz
These Snow sisters are so much fun to follow! This is the second book in the Snow Sisters series it features Danica's younger sister, Kaylie. She is pregnant with her boyfriend Chaz's baby, and is finding the further along her pregnancy gets, the less music gigs she is getting. This is cutting down her confidence. Chaz has a huge event coming up and has to go on a business trip to iron out the details. Secrets from his past are looming and if they come out before he tell Kaylie, things may get complicated. Will these two work to find their happily ever after? I love Kaylie. She is younger sister, and it's hard to see past the perfection of the first child. But her talent and perseverance are qualities to keep her going. Chaz is wonderful. He knows what he wants, what is important and what he needs to keep it. And I love how Melissa Foster has woven the history of Danica and Kaylie's parents into the story, and how it effects both girls. She is a master of giving us that relevant issue and lets us invest our hearts to find the answers along with her characters. Plus we have glimpses of Danica and Blake, which is just icing on the cake. I love stories that flow from book to book, letting us feel that sense of family and community. Loving this series and can't wait for book 3.
BJ Harrison is such a wonderful story teller. He is perfect for these books. He has a calming tone which is pleasant and makes the listen flow easily. I am enjoying his portrayal of this family.

Done
So much for promises to keep no secrets. Not a signle decent mature adult amongst them. Kaylie is pathetic, manipulative and a narcissist. So self centered and ego maniacal that making her a mother rang false. Danica is ridiculous and no one would believe she was ever a therapist. Hard to like a book with no likable people in it. So done with this series.

Angst, drama and change
Sisters in Bloom is largely the story of Kaylie Snow who is 8 months pregnant worried about her burgeoning weight, her flagging singing career, doubting Chaz, her fiancée’s, fidelity, and trying desperately not to turn into her mother. Having always been the free-spirited, fun-loving, pretty girl, Kaylie is experiencing many of the self-doubts experienced by new mothers to be. At the same time her sister Danica is faced with decisions to make about her relationship with her boyfriend, Blake. The arrival of their mother, who has undergone changes of her own, results in challenges and introspection from both sisters. Add in side stories of other characters in the Snow Sister’s orbit and there is more than enough drama to go around.
As is her style, Melissa Foster writes complex multi-layered books that tend to center on relationships and character growth with romance as more of a vehicle for the characters to learn and grow. While it had its steamy moments, this book was particularly emotional with the over-the-top emotions and angst raging in Kaylie. I finished this book feeling rather battered and overwhelmed by the intense emotions.
I found Kaylie to be very self-centered and self-absorbed. More worried about being pretty and thin after her baby is born, whining about a drop off in her singing gigs and constantly carrying on about not wanting to turn into her mother (who she perceived as being weak because she stayed with their father in spite of his infidelity). I really did not like her as a person and often just wanted to slap her and tell her to grow up. I disliked her almost hatred of her mother, when I felt she should be supporting her mom and seeing how she did what she did for her girls. Kaylie’s lack of self-awareness was consistent with her self-centeredness. Several times during the book she would say to herself that she was not that person that did X, Y or Z and I practically laughed out loud thinking, “Oh yeah, that is you exactly, honey.” The way that Danica constantly put her own happiness on hold or had it take a back seat to Kaylie’s drama also drove me nuts.
Fortunately, Kaylie seeks out help in sorting out her emotions and gaining more self-awareness. By the end of the book, she was beginning to make amends with her mother and started to dial back the self-centeredness. I don’t think I will ever like her, but she became a more likeable person. Danica, who we met in the first Snow Sisters book, has grown with her relationship with Blake and continues to grow in this book as she deals with her sisters’ drama as well as that of friends and co-workers at her new community center. I look forward to seeing the stories of many of the secondary characters evolve in future books. I like that the author tackles real-life topics (such as a woman’s doubts and career fears when pregnant) and has her characters learn and grow over the course of the book.
B. J. Harrison did his usual remarkable job with the narration. His smooth voice is easy to listen to and he voices each character very effectively. I will look for him in other series.

I really enjoyed Kaylie and Chaz's story. They are a great couple together and seem to be able to get through anything. I also loved that Danika and Blake's story was so good in this book too. Both romances were just so great that I wanted more when the book was done. All the characters were ones that I wanted to get to know more. I can't wait for the next book in the series. The narrator was good but the voice was a little slow so by speeding it up a bit, it sounded good. I would recommend this audiobook.

Amazing read
Sisters in Bloom is the second book in the Snow Sisters series by Melissa Foster, and after initially learning about Danica and becoming acquainted with Kaylie, this book was one I really looked forward to reading.
Kaylie is the opposite of Danica, where Danica is reserved, Kaylie is very ‘out there’ but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have her own hang ups and insecurities as we learn in this book.
This book shows a couple in a loved up gloss, but when Kaylie finds out she is pregnant things start changing. Kaylie struggles to find work in her industry, as no one wants to hire a pregnant female, and with Chad working on his own big break, she starts feeling vulnerable. With a spanner in the works, everything appears far from easy.
The book is very sweet and I adore Chaz and Kaylie’s relationship. The book highlights that communication is key, and that people aren’t mind readers. I loved how utterly realistic and relatable these characters are and I could not get enough.
I was lucky enough to receive an audio copy of this book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The narrator was new to me, but re-emphasised my love for this story.
The narration was clear, engaging and like all of Melissa Foster’s audiobooks, brought an element of fun and enthusiasm to the story.
It was an enjoyable listen that enabled me to switch off from life, and envisage these characters in my mind as the story played out.
For anyone who is looking for an audio book series to get stuck into, I’d highly recommend this set! It is perfect for all romance lovers, and those looking for a sweet with heat listen.

CHAZ=HOT!!!
I love Blake and Danica but my favourite couple from the Snow Sisters has to be Chaz and Kaylie. Kaylie is very insecure because of circumstances regarding her parents and her past and as much as she loves Chaz she struggles to get past it. Chaz is so patient with her and when you listen to the audiobook the strength of his love for her flows through. Chaz understands her like no-one else (except Danica) and as much as he could get frustrated with her or let her push him away he doesn't. At times you are frustrated at Kaylie while listening to the book but the way Melissa has written this story you understand why Kaylie is the way she is. I absolutely love this audiobook and it's another brilliant audiobook by my favourite author.

Sisters in Bloom
The Story:
This is book 2 in the wonderful Love in Bloom universe that Melissa Foster has created. Book 1 in the series concentrated more on Danica's story whereas this one is more about Kaylie & Chaz and their upcoming baby. Kaylie is going through an pregnant hormonal time in this book, and at times she sometimes came off a whiney kids, but she is dealing with her career taking a bit of a nose dive due to her pregnancy - not music promoter is going to hire her at the moment and she takes that kinda hard. You can see why they wont but it doesn't make Kaylie feel any better.
We see how miscommunication between her and Chaz almost ruin their relationship when a sponsor tried to break them up. This was a great story and cant wait to read more from Danica and Kaylie in book three.
The Narration:
BJ Harrison is back and narrating this instalment of the Snow Sisters books, I have got used to his voice and his female characters now that it made this a nice smooth listen.

Another good listen
This is the second book in the Snow sisters series. It mainly focuses on Kaylie and Chas's relationship as they approach parenthood. In between the story is the growing relationship between Danica and Blake as they head towards living together. Add in the side characters of Gage and Sally it makes for a great listen. Sometimes Kaylie comes across as a whining teenager, but as you get further into the book you realise she lets her past control her future. BJ Harrison is a great narrator.

The second Snow sister
This is a standalone book but follows on from Danicas story. It explores lots of emotions and Kaylie is just as flawed as the rest of us. The same can be said of her other half Chas. Definitely one to listen to.
