The only thing I need is him. It was the night before my wedding. Maybe I cursed it by visiting my fiancé. I didn't expect him to cheat on me with my best friend. Publisher's Summary
Danica Snow has always been the smart, practical, and appropriate sister. As a therapist, she prides herself on making reasonable, conservative choices, even if a bit boring, and as part of the Big Sister Program, she has little time for anything more in her life.
Blake Carter is a player. He never gets bored of conquering women, and with his sexy good looks and successful lifestyle, he has no trouble finding willing participants. When his friend and business partner dies in a tragic accident, he suddenly, desperately, wants to change his ways. The problem is, he doesn't know how to stop doing what he does best.
When Blake walks into Danica's office, the attraction between them is white hot, but Danica isn't the type to give into the heat and risk her career. Danica's desire sets her on a path of self-discovery, where she begins to question every decision she's ever made. Just this once, Danica wants to indulge in the pleasures of life she's been so willingly ignoring, but with her Little Sister in turmoil and her biological sister's promiscuousness weighing heavily on her heart, she isn't sure it's the right time to set her desires free.

The first is still one of the best.
I read this book over a year ago, but was given the opportunity to listen to it on audio. I picked up on many details I either missed or forgot from reading it. The narration was good and the inflection in B.J. Harrison's voice was great. I can't wait to listen to more audiobooks by Melissa.

More than a romance
What made the experience of listening to Sisters in Love the most enjoyable?
The story was heartwarming and the characters were so rich and real. There are so many things going on in the story but it all works together nicely with Danica as the center common point.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Sisters in Love?
There were many, but one in particular that stands out for me is when Kaylie realizes she is in love with Chaz and says it out loud in the quiet church during Camille's wedding.
What does B.J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
BJ has a very nice voice. His tone and cadence is perfect for narrating a book. I enjoyed listening to is voice. For me I don't think he brought anything extra having already read the book myself a few years ago.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were many moving moments for me but I would have to say one that stands out is when Blake realizes that Dave is the one who died on the mountain.
Any additional comments?
I loved the story just as much listening as I did when I first read it years ago. I only wish there had been a female narrator to voice Danica.

Fantastic story with nice narrator :)
I read Sisters in love and loved the story so when it came up to review for Audible, I thought why not I already love the story so why not review it in audio form. I wasn't disappointed the story was still as good as it was when I read it the first time. This is my first review for an audiobook, so I guess the review should reflect everything about it, the writing, the story line and of course the narrator, well the writing and the story are great. The narrator BJ Harrison has a nice voice for reading books, he did a good job however I think this story would have been much better had a women read Danika and the other women in this book and then BJ read Blake and the other guys in the story. Some of the lines that were women, his voice just didn't do it for me, but for Blake and the other males in the book he did a fantastic job. I don't know if it's possible to have a female and male split up the reading but if so maybe consider for future audiobooks. But BJ did do a fantastic job for the most part and I would definitely listen to more books narrated by him. Thanks for putting your fabulous books on audible, I can't wait to listen to more of your books!

Great book to listen to
I had rad this book years ago but I then listened to the audio version of this book and fell in love with the series all over again. I enjoyed the characters Danica and Blake as they work through their issues: Blake over coming the grief of his best friend and wanting to change his lonely promiscuous lifestyle while Danika works to learn to live a little and be happy for her and not others. I felt that the plot of this story moved along well and did not drag. I enjoyed both the print version and the audio version of this book and would recommend the series to others. With the audio version, I enjoyed the narration as it was easy to listen to and flowed with the storyline. The characters were easy to differentiate between when l was listening to the story. I would listen to another one of Ms. Foster's books through the audio format.

This is the first Melissa Foster Audiobook I list
Immediately I was under BJ Harrison's spell. The voice, the tone, and the cadence of the words brought the characters to life. I found myself getting in the car just listen to him more.
I loved that there were many levels to this story. There is the fun and hot romance and then there is the deeper death of a best friend and how that affects the people he left behind. There is also the story of Kaylie and her promiscuous ways and her struggle with falling in love. I cannot forget Michelle, the Little Sister of Danica that has lost her mother to alcoholism and is struggling to come to terms with herself. All the stories interwove perfectly and fit together without missing a beat.
I found myself connecting with each character in a different way. Hoping for Danica to loosen up and have some fun in her life. Blake to find the peace he so deserved. Kaylie to make the right choices in her life and not let her past pull her back. Michelle, oh Michelle, as a teenager I pulled for her the most. She is close to my daughter’s age and I cannot imagine her not having me here to guide her and give her occasional grief. I wanted her to succeed more than anyone else in the story.
I cannot wait for the next book in this Snow Sister’s series. Melissa Foster wrote a heart touching, realistic, loving story that I recommend highly.

4 "Responsible Sister + Her Ethical Dilemma" Stars
4 "The Responsible Sister and Her Ethical Dilemma" Stars for the story and narration!
Lovers of women's fiction will not want to miss the debut of this sister based series that combines the stories of multiple lives to bring us a heart warming tale of blood and non-blood based sister love and the others who shape their lives. I particularly connected with the main character, and enjoyed seeing how she worked tirelessly to help those around her, making me especially happy to see her experience success in resolving her own quandaries in the end. Additionally, the narration by experienced narrator BJ Harrison made listening to this tale easy to follow.
Danica Snow who is the responsible sister, a therapist no less, was made to help others. Not only does she take a lead role in ensuring her promiscuous sister is safe and trying to better her life by leading a more straight and narrow life, but she also volunteers as a big sister for a young lady, who though she is lucky to have the love and care of her grandmother, lacks a mother or big sister role model. Amidst this already full life, Danica Snow must struggle with letting herself be a bit more free and with an unexpected attraction that leads to an ethical quandary.
Blake Carter likes to dull the pain of his life in women. Never staying too long with one he used to be content living life day by day and leaving the committed relationship life to his business partner and best friend. However, when his best friend, an expert skier, dies unexpectedly on the slopes, Blake's life is left in a tale spin that leads him to therapist Danica's coach. Quite coincidentally it was his late best friend who gave him her number, but what really throws him for a loop is that they have already met, and that first meeting didn't go over quite so well. Can Danica really be Blake's answer to a new life under such an inauspicious beginning? Moreover, when they both start experiencing an attraction to one another, will it be possible to continue as either patient and doctor or something more given that the therapist ethics code very clearly would prohibit any personal relationship between them?
BJ Harrison is easy to listen to and does a good job of reading this story. Although he doesn't provide a lot of differentiation between his male and female characters, I generally had no trouble following this story. While I have to admit that I at first was a little skeptical about a male narrator narrating a womens' fiction title-- as Mr. Harrison's narration style reminded me of the narrators that I have listened to in many romantic suspense titles (think Nora Roberts and the like)--he ultimately won me over and I was able to peacefully settle in to listening to story from his rendition.
All in all, Sisters in Love drew me in and made me feel invested in these various characters' dilemmas. I think this title is particularly suited for women's fiction listeners as the romance is somewhat secondary to the resolution of the various characters' individual battles. Having been introduced to these colorful characters, I'm now eagerly awaiting Kaylie's story (Danica's promiscuous sister) in Sisters in Bloom.

makes you wait for the relationship to develop
From the start, I was curious to see just how this story would progress: Danica is the typical repressed and uptight character, with a giant case of ‘take care of everyone’. A herculean task, as she has a sister Kaylie that took all of the wild genes in the family. Danica starts out as all points and pokes: harsh and quick to judge everyone she encounters in her personal life, she’s the epitome of someone unable to apply their knowledge to their own life. Fortunately we do see her softer and more caring side early on, as she’s a Big Sister to Michelle, a young girl desperately in need of solid caring guidance.
Blake – oh what to say about Blake. He’s so caught up in his own issues and avoidance of them that he comes off as brash, outspoken, carefree and wholly a player. Something not going his way? Use whomever is handy to distract and make him forget. Not the best quality when his distractions always center on his own sexual conquests, with no thought to after. He was not an easy character to respect, let alone like, until he actually wanted to make a change.
Danica and Blake have an instant physical attraction, but as her patient working through his own grief and choices, the potential seems limited. But, as they get to know one another, the connection grows and the two see potential. Well, if you discount Blake’s inability to keep his pants zipped up. As a couple – it took me most of the book to find the ability to both see them as a couple and want them together.
Narration by B.J. Harrison for this title was interesting. I’m familiar with his Classic Tales Podcast, and his ability to present a story’s emotional moments without overreaching and making the listener uncomfortable is present in all his work. While the character voices were not delineated with changes in pitch and tone, the presentation between narrative voice and character voices did present differences and add to the listen. A clever choice of narrator that works well with the story and holds interest.
Overall, if you are wanting a boy meets girl, boy gets girl, HEA story – this isn’t it. This story makes you work for the relationship as you struggle through (and often want to smack) the characters while they wander from good decision to bad and back to good again. They are real people, with real issues and get in their own way more than once on the way to finding one another.
I received an AudioBook copy of the title from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

This was a very sweet with a little bit of angst and a touch of drama. This is about two people that need to find them self before either of them can be happy.

Silky voice and sexy story
Sisters In Love was my first Melissa Foster book several years ago. I totally enjoyed it then and now I was given the opportunity to listen to the audiobook. I loved it just as much if not more. The narration was done by BJ Harrison. I really liked his swoon-worthy voice and ability to narrate multiple characters. BJ Harrison just makes the characters come alive. Dannika Snow and Blake Carter were fun to get to know again. I am completely in love with Melissa Foster and her Love In Bloom series. It just keeps growing and the intertwining of characters with other intertwined series is wonderful. Whether you read the story or listen to the audio, it is just as smooth as silk. You will love Dannika and Blake’s story. The narration brings more passion and plays like a movie in my mind. Or even more alive I think because I can hear and “feel” the emotions the author was trying to portray due to the talented voice of BJ Harrison. I received an ALC in exchange for an honest review. *****

Sisters in Love
I have finally gone back to the beginning of where this series all started! The Snow Sisters. I started the Love in Bloom Series by Melissa in the Seaside Summers spin off and I have continued to follow her new releases but never had a moment to go back to the start. Sisters in Love is book one in the Snow Sisters series and book one in the huge Love in Bloom universe from Melissa.
The Story:
Sisters in Love is a quick, fun read full of romance, love, and close family. Danica Snow is a therapist and our guy Blake Carter is a player with no desire to settle down but after the sudden death of his best friend and business partner, he realises he needs to change his womanising way but has no idea where to start. After a brief meeting with Danica in a coffee shop, he had no idea that she was about to become his therapist! Danica doesn't want to risk her career, but it is clear that the attraction between this is red hot - but can a player really change his ways? Can Danica trust a guy like Blake? You will just need to read on to find out
The Narrator:
BJ Harrison did a great job, (though I am not entirely convinced with his female voices). He did switch seamlessly between characters and did manage to convey the emotions of the characters, but once I got into the book and listened to him more he grew on me

Great Story
Blake Carter is a ski shop owner and former Acro-skier and a playboy. Danica Snow is a therapist and big sister who cares about everyone. When Blake's best friend dies he is thrown into a downward spiral of not knowing what to do. After one to many one night stands Blake decides to get in touch with a therapist, which turns out to be Danica. From the start there is a spark of romance. Danica tries to fight this all the way, but Blake finally wears her down. This is a lovely book that also introduces Kailey her sister and some of the Braden family who are Blake's cousins. Loved the interaction with Danica and Kaley who are polar opposites for sisters. Great narration from BJ Harrison
