Publisher's Summary

Clyde Hatchett: last man standing.

Well, he's the last elf standing. It's confusing not being human anymore. But being the only living member of the Biscuit's Union has its benefits. No need to take on shifts baking cookies, for one. No one telling Clyde what to do. No one....

You have been offered a quest by the Biscuit's Union: Rebuild the Guild

Reform the guild by having at least eight members in good standing by the end of one week.

Reward for success: survival of the guild, unknown, XP

Penalty for failure (or refusal): the death of the guild

Okay then. So in order for any of the work Clyde's put in to matter, for any of the numerous deaths he's gone through to count, he has to keep the guild going and remain its leader. Which means he's got a busy week ahead of him. Seven Days. Eight Guild Members. Countless Problems.

so so good

I tend to listen to books a sped up, so that I can listen to more books and so that I can enjoy the book as soon as possible but for Eric ugland, I go back to 1x speed so that I can take my time and so that the book doesn't end as soon, that's how good these books are.

Love this series on Audible

Both the good and bad guy series are gold. Perfect narrator for these characters. Main character is a little too similar in both but it's a good character so I don't mind. Well worth a purchase.

A great book in an amazing series

The character development is excellent. The pacing of the story does not feel rushed and keeps the reader/listener engaged. There was never a droll moment in this chapter of an ever growing and consistently interesting series.

A perfect compliment to Montana.

Just like Hellegers’ other series, Skull and Thrones helps walk me into caring about basic and classic tropes with low-crunch LitRPG, great writing, interesting creatures, and good combat. The last of which is a big compliment from me as I sometimes skim combat sections if they get stale to me or if the details don’t make easy sense in my head.
CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE.
Keep it up Neil!

It's starting to get rolling now!

It's starting to be a full house, actually 3 houses. It's a testament to the writing and performance that all the characters are distinct and memorable. I really enjoy the magic battles. The political mysteries are interesting without being too complicated or drawn out too long.
Satisfying and left me wanting more, so job well done.
