Best book of the series
I liked that the story grabbed my attention immediately and held on till the last word. The narration is amazing. I was so sure I knew who dunnit through most of the book, that I was surprised to find i was wrong. The previous book in the series stressed me out because of the main plot line. This story has danger, intrigue, and a corpse which all lead to a fabulous plot line. The story touches on all parts of Roe's past and neatly weaves the old with the new. It is done with a masterful touch that keeps the story feeling fresh and new. There is no sense of the author putting the story on while while refreshing the readers memories. Masterfully done. I love seeing how well Roe is adjusting to motherhood. It is written well and feels true-to-life. Yet, it doesn't overwhelm the murder plot line. It has been a while since I've picked up a book this good. I highly recommend it!

Enjoyable
A homey mystery, with enough turns and twists to keep you captivated. I was honestly a bit dissapointed with the end, but that could easily just be me. I finished within a few days despite how busy I have been because it hooked me quickly. And the narration was fantastic, brought the book to life.

Interesting story line, but too much baby
Would you try another book from Charlaine Harris and/or Therese Plummer?
It was well read and I do like Charlaine Harris overall works.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I kept going despite the fact that the constant dialogue about baby eating, burping, the cuteness of the baby, baby diapering, on and on baby reference was so overdone. But I thought the story was interesting and I really wanted to find out what happened in the mystery. The story didn't benefit from all the over the top baby references.
Which character – as performed by Therese Plummer – was your favorite?
I thought she did a great job with all the characters.
Do you think Sleep Like a Baby needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No, there might be top much baby in it. Heaven forbid that there would be another child....
Any additional comments?
The book could have been 1/4 to 1/3 shorter without all the needless baby crap.

Another wonderful Charlaine Harris novel!
I have read every one of Charlaine Harris' books and I love them all (but it's been several years since I binge read them all). I was thrilled to discover there was a new Aurora Teagarden book that I hadn't read. It was wonderful just as I expected. Plus it was great having Aurora & Robin together. I had just watched the new Aurora Teagarden Hallmark movie Last Scene Alive and was confused as to why Aurora wasn't with Robin (bad call Hallmark, the chemistry is already there between them, kill Martin off already! ) I think it's time to re-read the whole series.

Happy for a new book in the series.
I love this series! I was so happy to find that a new book was on the pre order list. If anything I think this is the best book in the series. Most of the time I have the "who" figured out before the reveal. Not this time!
My favorite parts of the book are finding out what is happening with the minor characters from the series and the little hint at the end about a possible new story in the future.

7 hours of Aurora breast-feeding her kid. Gross.
I have enjoyed all the books In the Aurora Teagarden series until this one. This book was terrible. It was seven hours of Aurora breast-feeding her kid in detail. Gross. I’ve had my children and I’ve breast fed them. I don’t want to hear hours about someone else doing it. This book was supposed to be about murder-mystery not child rearing. The plot was lousy even without the non-stop bombardment of teat suckling. Skip reading/ listening to this one. You’ll be diss appointed.

Fast paced read
I haven’t read any other books in the series so maybe it would’ve been helpful to have some of the back story but this is still good as a stand-alone read. Especially if you have a young child, it’s relatable. A fun light mystery read that I’ll probably listen to again at some point.
