Waste of a credit.

I purchased this book because of the good reviews. Everyone said how great it was. Well, Instead of the stories I thought I was getting the first 4 chapters are on the science and steps of meditation. And the first story starts off talking about the death of a Grandfather. Hearing the first line made me feel melancholy. I honestly feel more anxiety NOW, then when I started. I wish I could get my credit back, so that I could purchase a ok that actually helps me sleep.

Great tool for better sleep and more positive thinking!!!

This book is outstanding! I was having trouble with occasional insomnia, but this book has helped immensely! I thoroughly enjoyed the intro, the tips to relieve stress, and the science at the beginning of the book. However, I highly recommend listening to this part during the day. It is valuable information, but this section is not intended to put you to sleep. Using the Chapter function, you can skip to any one of the 80+ sleep stories in the middle of the book when it is time to go to bed. I also used the sleep timer, set at 30 minutes, and found myself falling asleep within the first 15 minutes almost every night. I also really enjoyed the guided meditations and the affirmations at the end of the book! And, I would agree with the multitude of reviews below that speak to the value of listening to this book anytime of day! Good stuff!! Highly recommended!!

Be Warned

The majority of reviews posted here seem to be fake reviews- posted by phony accounts and upvoted by other phony accounts in an effort to make this audiobook seem better than it is. Other titles by this production company have similarly been given phony good reviews. Buy this or not as you see fit, but to base your purchase on phony good reviews is a mistake. I cannot recommend this product, and I can flatly condem the fake reviews.

I understand everything very well

How special it is to be able to understand the why of things. When I gave this audiobook a chance to help me, it first guided me and explained me about everything that I was going to be able to experience after practicing each thing, and that made me very excited, every explanation motivated me. Interesting types of meditations

I learned to practice many types of meditations, but the ones that have caught my attention the most have been the ones related to mindfulness, they definitely allowed me to live unique experiences in my life. I feel very happy and content for all that this material has taught me.

I have seen incredible changes

Through the good understanding I was able to acquire about hypnosis, I was able to practice it; I was also able to use the affirmations for my own benefit, and it is really super satisfying to be able to say that this audiobook exceeded all my expectations. Practicing the meditations

How good have been each and every one of the explanations that each topic offers. I really needed quick solutions to eliminate insomnia completely from my rest time, and the meditations have helped me to relax and fall into deep sleep. Thank you.

Awful, grating voice

I thought I’d check out my new book ready for when I struggle to sleep, by the time ten minutes had passed I was annoyed and had to turn it off, I’m not even sure how they managed that reaction! the robotic voice for the first few chapter then managed to switch up to be even more grating, I was hoping for the relaxing stories that send me to sleep in seconds in the calm app, but alas this is nothing like those. If you want to feel anxious and not sleep? then listen to this book! Haha

can't stop it after a chapter

As the book was doing its thing and helping me drift off to sleep, a new chapter came on and I got woken up by the narrator starting it.
I don't know how to stop chapters from rolling. so unless you want to roll through the whole book, possibly being woken up with the change of pace from the narrator, each night this isn't the book for you.
If anyone can tell me how to stop it rolling through it that would be very helpful.
So far I'm disappointed that I cannot use this for what I purchased it for.

How to make someone angry before bed

First 5 chapters were not to help you sleep ,or stories they were a discussion on the reasons why people don’t sleep. I don’t really need an in-depth Analysis just before I want to sleep. Stories:They are not stories ,they are mainly pointless waffle, the narrators voice was patronising annoying and slow. She made me angry. A whole chapter on food not appropriate just before bed I stopped the app and felt hungry and needed to stick my head in the food cupboard.

Awesome!

Really awesome... I would've/could've loved it.... if there wouldn't be annoying (piano) music played. Why is there music anyway? For example the story Dream Life : that's a really nice fantasy and it would work so well for me to fall asleep with. But the (way too) loud piano playing completely wakes me up instead. It's the kind of piano play that fits well in an Asian restaurant or massage salon. It's repetitive and way too present. I really hope other story books for adults don't add music. If I want to listen to music, I wouldn't choose a bedtime story.

My little safe place

This book is so good that I listen to it whenever I have a chance. It let’s me access my safe place extremely fast. I don’t know if it is the shooting narrator’s voice or the relaxing music, but it has had a powerful effect in me. It is a interesting way to clear your mind for a while.
