Helps smooth out the learning curve

Got for my husband's Christmas present. He bought himself a Big Green Egg but then realized he didn't know what to cook on it. He uses this every time and as long as he follows the instructions and recipes to the letter everything turns out PERFECT!!!! Do not deviate from these instructions until you are a master, he worked out the science for you in advance.

Great recipes for the connoisseur

Now all the other egg cookbooks I’ve bought seem like a waste. This is the best grilling, smoking, cooking egg book I’ve seen. It makes the whole process easier and the recipes I’ve tried are truly delicious.

Great Book for the beginner smoker!

Great and unique recipes! I then heard he wrote the electric smoker cookbook. I received it a couple of days ago. Now shopping for my first smoker. Best reference for meats, veggies, types of wood, etc. for an electric smoker. My go-to book when trying a new cut of meat, fowl, or fish!.

Best reference for meats

The recipes could be used on any other type of smoker but having directions that are specific to an electric model makes starting out a breeze. The recipes we’ve tried so far (pork shoulder, brisket, turkey) have been simple but fabulous.

I LOVE this book!

I though I knew a lot about grill. Then I read this. WOW! Was I ignorant. Not anymore. Of course it has a huge selection of meat recipes but it also has a decent vegetarian and vegetable side section, which I appreciate. The author also included a chapter dedicated to drinks (soft and hard) and suggested food parings.

Step by Step listen.

The smoked deviled egg recipe is fantastic. I have been wanting to make smoked deviled eggs for a long time but couldn't think of a way to make it worth without overlooking the egg, and this book has the perfect solution So far, EVERY recipe that I have tried has been exceptional.

BEST BOOK. I LOVE THIS BOOK.

I highly recommend this book, whether you are new to smoking or have been at it for a while. Due to where I live I need to use an electric smoker, and all of the recipes I have tried so far have worked great and translate well to electric. The smoked deviled egg recipe is fantastic. I have been wanting to make smoked deviled eggs for a long time but couldn't think of a way to make it worth without overlooking the egg, and this book has the perfect solution

Great Recipes and Tips

I recently purchased a Large Green Egg. Having never used a Big Green Egg before, buying a book to go with it seemed necessary so this was an easy choice. Being a beginner, I loved all the introductory material in the beginning but I found myself hungering for a bit more. It does go through the very basics of lighting and cooking but some FAQ's or troubleshooting info would have been helpful.

Start smoking on your egg here!

My bookcases are filled with cookbooks. Never have I listen one from cover to cover, that is, until now. Eric not only includes recipes that are easy to follow and look delicious, the first and last sections of the book provide helpful hints from firing up to extinguishing. He has numerous time and money saving ideas spread throughout.

Great book for most people, whether you are a beginner or seasoned semi-pro, this book has lots to help you along the way.
