“IT’S SHOWTIME.”

The news has made headlines—"Korea and Japan join hands to exterminate the terrifying magic beasts on Jeju Island once and for all!” It’s a monumental moment for the people of the country…and it has absolutely nothing to do with Jinwoo. Instead, the newest S-rank hunter’s number-one priority is bringing his recently recovered mother back home where she belongs at last. When the situation on Jeju Island takes a devastating turn for the worse, though, will the country's top hunters be strong enough to save the day without him?

Where was the story and fights in this book

The MC had one fight in this book that was described as it was happening however one sided it was but then the other time its the MC goes in the dungeon then someone outside the dungeon is talking then the MC comes out fights over the story is the same someone new trying to recruit him, there are tiny scenes in the book that hint at a possible story in the next book but pretty much besides the short fight on the island its just borderline pointless chatter.
Lastly the mother scenes are extremely dry considering she been in a coma for 4 years.

The narrator sucks

I feel like the plot has devolved over the last couple books as the author keeps trying to allude to something big in the background with ominous foreshadowing, but maintaining such a vague foreshadowing is killing the story.

Also I am strongly against the narrator, his battle cry for the ants was literally the same as the sound for screeching tires... which is to say that it sounds like a mulling animal.

Perfect world perfect mc

Nobody holds a spark compared to the inferno that is the MC.
Like, everybody and everything is a paper tiger compared to him.

Where is the story?

it's really good I just hate wear it cuts off at and now I have to wait until the 5th volume which I already pre-ordered especially considering I know what happens because I cheated and finished the manga but I enjoyed it so much then I'm finishing listening to the audiobooks.

amazing, but too short.

absolutely love the story, like, a ton, but this installment wasn't long like the previous 3. I sincerely hope this is not the new trend.

Awesome from start to finish! Please vol 5 soon!

I don't know what dude is talking about. There was at least 2-3 chapters worth of non-stop action!
A new conflict to resolve later! Finally entertaining a love interest, though I personally don't care about that. More wonderful voice acting! Doing my best to review without spoilers here. And I'll say it again: one of the most innovative concepts to come to Isekai ever!
Heart EVERYTHING!

Second half is more of a filler with hints…

…of what is coming next. Would have appreciated more character development than the predictable “huh, what’s going on?” Where most people are described as insignificant nonplussed morons.

Great

My only complaint is this finished way too soon. Now to wait very impatiently for book 5.

Great listen.

If you’ve read the manhwa it stops a little past season 1. It adds more explanation to things that happen.
Also the sound effects are fine, that or I’ve gotten used to them. After all it is book 4.

Cringe voice actor, roaring ants and weird noises

Well the story is good and exciting, but as the other books of this series the voice actor butchers every bit of immersion in voice acting every single sound in a horrible way. And it was commented before and I am stunned by his resistance to improve. Less is more and better… come on dude ants can’t screech “scraaaaaw?!??!?” or roar and to “ka pow” every second punch? And if something breaks in half there is no need for an over motivated “CRACK” every f….ing time….
