Loved!

This was a great one! The narration was so good to listen to and the story was well written. But what I loved most was that Kazmir aka The Lion were tied into this story which was BRILLIANT! Starting the second book now! Good job Ms. Wright.

Ending was lacking and missing parts plus too long

Spoiler alert: I went through both parts which part 1 was pretty good. Seems like the writer either got bored or began to forget parts of the story and the characters. For example: Rafael went to Louisiana to go after Gwen but towards the end it just has a small mentioned that all 3 that are in relationships but dont mention the girlfriend names or a small mention on whom they ate. Emily aka the mouse was pregnant but nothing was mentioned even after Jean Piere went to Russia, he went because she was being harrassed by some of the Russian's men (cant spell his name) or even the mentioned if peace continued based on them both being pregnant. What happened to the Devil? Even though Jean Piete didnt want to deal with him there wasnt even a mentioned of his ending after all he did, even if Rafael wanted to do something to him (it's hard to believe and disappointed to know that mafia men wont do anything to the guy that cut the face of the leader's girlfriend or the exgirlfriend of the 2nd in command after ending up with mutilated body. Also Eden's father, there was no explanation on what he did before her proposal or what did Jean Piere do just that it would be discussed later but it never happened. The saddest part is that yes she had a child but the love she had with the violin was destroyed and she was never able to play again, yes she likes directing the symphony but to have that as part of her ending was not something I was that happy to learn at the end. Basically she ended up with a huge scar on her face and was no longer able to play violin which was something that was always the main focus of the story and what entwined them. Last but not least, the sucking of the breastmilk?????? yea I dont know what to say about that, I guess since he couldnt get his obsession on hearing her play the violin that he became obsessed on drinking her breastmilk????. The ending needed to be changed it was definitely lacking.

Excellent Presentation

I listened to this book three times before writing my review. an amazing follow-up to book one. the action and expense keeps you on your toes. Jean Pierre has issues like the song "Issues." Now its time for his cousins to find their happiness. when you go black you never go back!

So much action

I loved both books related to these characters. The narrators did a fantastic job with French and Russian accents. It was hard to stop listening. Found myself laughing out loud for some parts(especially with Raphael) and some that made me cringe. Loving Kenya’s books. On to the next book!

Better than the first

when I read the first book Rhapsody I wasn't sure I would read the 2nd one. I'm glad I did. the story and characters were more fleshed out ithis book. And thankfully we had more parts read by themale narrator who was awesome. His accents wer gread, his voice deep and smooth. Hearing him read the love scenes was seriously hot!! I will be looking for more books read by him for sure. the female narrator was awful with male voices and accents. That was part of the reason I almost stopped listening to the first book. I wish Eden was written as a stronger female character, But Jean Pierre was complex and his character carried the book. I loved his guys. Im so glad Ms Wright teased us with some of Raphael's story.

Ok

I really liked this book and would recommend it. I would have given it 5 stars if the author hadn't used God's name in vain.

It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. The couple was fantastic together I like the situation they were put in and how they handled them. I wish this series had more books and I hope their child and the Lion and Mouse child get together or are best friends. That would make a great story.

I can't wait to hear his cousin's story and maybe E and Emily will know each other. That would be an awesome storyline. I didn't like the voice the Male narrator had for Louis or Giorgio, but other than that he was ok. I really liked the Female narrator. I hated That Shalimar died the way she did.
