Publisher's Summary

2004 Christy Fiction award winner!

Paul Stepola, an agent working for the National Peacekeeping Organization (NPO), has been assigned to enforce compliance with the world government's prohibition on religion. Paul relishes his job and is good at it. He is determined to expose underground religion - flush it out, expose it, and kill it - until his life is turned upside down, and he is forced to look at life in a different way.

As Paul begins to unravel the truth about what he has found, events taking place around the world are starting to make sense. Something big is coming - something that can't be stopped. And it is coming soon.

Good but not like Left Behind

I got this book seeking to find another series similar to the Left Behind Series. Although the book was well written and it was interesting, i did not connect to the characters as I have done in other books. Perhaps I was expecting too much comparing it to the other series. I would recommend friends to read but not to compare, as that's where I went wrong.

As always this book gives the reader quite a bit to think about. I can’t wait for the next book, to see how this unfolds. Great narrator.

The Edge of Your Seat!

Excellent storyline and characters you can feel and with whom you can relate. I read this back in the day but decided to read/listen to it through Audible. It was even better than I remembered.

Stick with the book!

The first chapter or prologue was quite gruesome but the book got better & it was interesting how the author pulled Paul into God’s hands & used him. I did enjoy the book.

liked it

I liked it but I was disappointed in how the main character's infidelities were brushed aside and not addressed enough. it was like some of the blame was being placed on his wife for her paranoia. He never really confessed to his adultery with Angela. He even developed feelings for her.

Familiar or Recast Story Line

The main character, Paul, seemed a lot like "Rayford" from the Left Behind series. I anticipated what might happen early.

Good story

Soon is a unique story about the end times. It’s well written and is based off interpretation of scripture, and Bible verses are also included throughout the story.
