Genuine Excellence

Each formula gives a prep and cooking time since times are everywhere for under an hour to the vast majority of the day. Love the flavors and have numerous plans bookmarked for what to cook straightaway. Well written! I know so many new things from this book about that topic. I am very happy to listen this audio book.

The whys and wherefores + good recipes

This is a great resource for beginning cooks who are ready to try a different cooking technique. I liked it because it had clear steps, but also it addressed what to accompany with the proteins. For example, while the meat is cooking in the Sous Vide bath, there are directions for the vegetables that go with it but don’t cook in it. I find that helpful when it comes to time management making a full meal. Every recipe gives a prep and cooking time because times are all over the place for under an hour to most of the day. Love the flavors and have many recipes bookmarked for what to cook next.

The best restaurants and your home now!

Sous vide makes it feasible for us to cook like professionals at home. Be that as it may, it very well may be a tad of a creation and takes a venture of time forthright. What I love about this cookbook is, how to cook sous vide without using any heat or very minimal heat to still prepare a healthy, delicious, and safe meal and it spreads out just how to set up an ace formula to begin, at that point make fascinating side project suppers with totally new flavor profiles effectively and rapidly. Every formula offers intriguing setting, clear directions, convincing photography and convenient tips and alternate ways. The cookbook is sprinkled with some fun, one-off extra plans, as well. It has immediately become a go-to cookbook for us, and has assumed control over the cookbook remain on our kitchen island. My better half is a major fanatic of the Drunken Noodles produced using the ace formula for Quick-Cooked Pork.

More Modernist Magic

Informative and rousing for anybody simply jumping into recuperating their seeing how they work. This book is pressed loaded with data and correspondences, very elegantly composed. Lovely work of art, stunning plans... what's more, bunches of adoration. Being a Sabbatical part for a considerable length of time and seeing the finishing of this book fills my heart with so much delight. I energetically suggest!

The wonders of sous vide

Recipes are meant to be played with, so have fun with it. I do warn though, there are safety concerns with sous vide; so follow recipes and safety guidelines like you would canning. Overall this is an excellent guide.

Invaluable temperature guide for most foods.

This book has a lot of info that will be good for a newbie to Sous Vide-particularly cooks that just can't get their heads around cooking foods for 4-8 hours. There are several charts that while they give ranges of cooking time, they also recommend the best amount of time.

Makes meal planning for a busy week a breeze

The quality of the book is excellent and belongs in any cooks collection. There are guidence for every recipe. There is so much to learn here, so many helpful hints, and fantastic do-ahead instructions. It provides good technical explanations as well as wonderful recipes that work for any brand of sous vide machine.

Make you feel confident

This is an awesome quality Sous Vide Cookbook.The recipes are phenomenal, and in reality especially illuminated. The description and stories for every formula square measure nice, and the recipes themselves sound delicious. The book extremely makes restaurant-quality sous vide recipes feel accessible. The well-structured recipe index of this book really impressed me and that was really so much helpful.

My new Go-To for sous vide

In this book provide very good guideline about Sous Vide recipes. It has a lot of good suggestions and tricks. This audio book secured each of these things and we have altogether favored this fashion of cooking accordingly! I surely like this book. I have purchased one for me and three extra for others who are beginners.

This is an excellent Sous Vide Cookbook

This is an excellent Sous Vide Cookbook. Unlike several others, this one has very specific guidelines for alternate meals. Here you'll find meals from all over the world that will please even the most seasoned traveler. This is an excellent cookbook. I've made many recipes from it, and they've all turned out beautifully. The narrator's voice is lighthearted and easy to understand. This is an excellent book for someone who is new to using a Sous Vide unit.

This is a fantastically narrated

This is a fantastically narrated and practical cookbook! I think it's the best sous vide cookbook I've ever seen. There's a lot to read here, as well as a lot of handy tips and great do-ahead directions. It's a fun audio cookbook. This cookbook is one of my favorites. I've been sous vide cooking for about a year. There are a lot of fancy recipe books out there, but this one is the best because of the clear instructions and the delicious food.

Excellent cookbook

Excellent cookbook, I bought this along with my sous vide and am very happy with it. The food is very approachable, and the book is well laid out. The author does an excellent job of describing not only how, but also why, in layman's words. I am very pleased with my investment and would recommend it to others.

Beautifully designed cookbook.

Beautifully designed cookbook. The narrative is excellent. The recipes are delicious and well-explained. For each recipe, there are specifics. This cookbook is fantastic. I'm buying two copies, one for myself and one as a present for a sous vide enthusiast.

Add this to your collection

This is a fantastic culinary book with recipes fit for a five-star restaurant. This is a book that everyone should have. James Abraham has done an outstanding job with precise information, beautifully structured recipes, and some of the tastiest dishes you will ever prepare, or for that matter, consume. I highly recommend you add this to your collection even if you’re not the best cook. Once you see the many meals, you'll be at a new level. I know this is taking me up to a better level of cooking.

Well written and presented

Fantastic sous vide cookbook. This book explains why you should use a specific temperature and how different times and temperatures affect the cooking process. This cookbook is fantastic! I have a plethora of cookbooks and a passion for cooking, and this book has quickly moved to the top of my list. The only cookbook I believe I'll need to learn Sous Vide is this one. Well written and presented; the author obviously is passionate about this method of cooking. This guidebook is gorgeous and belongs in any cook's collection.

Really loved all the recipes sited

Every recipe in this cookbook makes me want to attempt it. The recipes are well-organized and presented. Before I started cooking, I read this book as if it were fiction. Everyone will find a recipe that suits them. Fantastic sous vide cookbook. Great book for everyone.

Very easy recipes to follow and have good tips to follow.
For a beginner, I was a little perplexed as to why the times were not exact.
I thought it was an exact science and while a lot of it is, sometimes you may want softer meat that is broken down more and only get that with time.
You can't overcook it, but you can turn it into mush.

Pros: Easy to read and follow along. I like how each section, in the beginning, has general steps to follow including how to put extra food back into the freezer for later use.
Most other recipes online I see and follow don't have that, having this part in there is great. It's an EXCELLENT reference book and I get upset when I can't find it.

Cons: I wish the book had colored sections for each different type of food you can cook.
It would help to find things fast because you wouldn't have to look up what page pork starts on, you would know which color it’s under and go straight to it.

The recipes don't require the most expensive ingredients to create. Finally, the cookbook does not have a central theme to it so you can find any kind of dish in it. The recipes may seem basic once whipped up they can be served along with any fine restaurant perfect for dinners with friends or a family dinner.

James Abraham gives you the practical guidance, delicious recipes, and extensive information you need to start your journey and become a pro at sous vide cooking, even if you are a beginner. By following all the steps he laid out, you can master it in just a few days.

Five Stars

Wonderful simple recipes and easy directions... and for trying to remember to plan dinner ahead of time. I never thought I’d say that. I've had sous vide set up for over a year and I was having trouble using it right until this cookbook. The recipes are well-decorate and precise and I had an awesome dinner party as a result. I no longer think wet meat when I think sous vide and are excited to try more recipes from this audio-book. James takes the intimidation factor out of sous vide cooking and makes it a vital part of home cooking.
