Publisher's Summary

How did you learn your first language? By listening to the people around you talk to each other and tell stories. You probably had a parent or teacher read you stories as well. Stories are foundational not only in our understanding of the world, but in our understanding of the languages within it.

What better way to improve your grasp on a new language than to use the same method that worked so effectively for your first one? Why not revisit this tried-and-true process?

Listening to stories is the best way to learn how sentences are actually structured by every-day speakers, as well as to familiarize yourself with how each word is really used in common conversation. And with our audiobook series, this process is much more affordable than visiting another country to experience language immersion.

Since each story is fairly short, you’ll be able to replay them as much as you’d like to ensure that you’ve gleaned as much as you can from them. And since there are so many, you won’t get bored by too much repetition and you’ll be able to improve your vocabulary with every story.

You can learn at your own pace, listen whenever and wherever is most convenient for you, and hear your own progress growing along the way.

If you’re ready to take your language learning journey to the next level, let our Spanish immersion short story collection guide the way into your Spanish mastery from the comfort of your own home.

Improve my Spanish quickly.

This is one of the many tools I use to try to learn Spanish. The stories are interesting enough and sometimes a bit challenging to listen to.

Spanish Made Simple!✌❤

I took an online Spanish course and felt pretty good about what I learned, but I desperately needed stories to listen to. This is why I got this audiobook.

Much more valuable.

I like that I can learn Spanish while driving or sleeping. Interesting stories are provided in a generally digestible language context. Some may be a little advanced for the beginner's vocabulary but completely doable.

Concise and outstanding😱

The stories are a bit corny. But it was a fun way to practice my Spanish at a low price. I plan on purchasing the other books from this author

Simple and effective.

Perfect book. I had tried similar audiobooks that claimed to be for beginners, but it was at least for an intermediate. However, this book is far better for beginners who want to get started with learning Spanish. I enjoyed it a lot.

Sound quality is high!

I enjoyed listening to these stories. The most fun part was that I could understand the Spanish stories without using a dictionary. I can see that the stories are written thoughtfully and skillfully. Thank you!

This book is really well done and I am glad

I'm enjoying this book. Some of the stories were a stretch for me initially, but the support materials -vocabulary lists, summaries, and comprehension questions - help make reading a great way to learn. I find the stories are a good length since they are long enough to create interest and short enough to pervert overwhelm. That makes it easy to review them frequently to cement the vocabulary and examine the sentence structure.

intermediate Spanish with no English translation

This was pretty useless for me as I only understood about 20%. it would be better to learn the vocab, hear the story at slow speed then at full speed.
