Boring voice actor

I love the book so much, but the voice actor is not very good- sounds like a male version of Siri. It kind of looses my attention because he’s sounds so boring.

Great book - terrible narration

I loved this book! But the narrator spoke as though he’d never spoken English before this. I was so disappointed. I couldn’t finish the Audible.

The narration is AWFUL

This is an amazing book, but the narration is beyond awful. I literally stopped listening and read the book. I've now read it about 3 times now. I'll never listen to this audio book because of the narration. I'm actually going to try to get a refund because of it.

Great content spoiled by awful voice performance

I tried multiple times because a spiritual mentor recommended this book, but I can't stomach the weird reading voice in this. It's like someone with no interest in the book had done a dry performance and was asked to try again with more feeling and did either a weak attempt or was privately mocking the content.

it just doesn't sound genuine at all. I'd truly rather listen to one of those auto-text-reader robots read it.

Nice to have heard, but

It is a very powerful book, a revelation that I pray the church understands and walks in to a greater level.

While this was nice to have as an audible book. (I know I wouldn’t have listened to otherwise)
the person reading sounds kind of monotonous. Almost like an electric voice.

Awful Narration :(

I’m so disappointed. The book is GREAT. I have the printed version and was excited to have the audible to listen to while I follow along in the book. I couldn’t get past the first few pages. The monotone reader is worse than having Siri read the text. I’m going to request a refund of my credit.

Good book, poor narration

This is the third religious audio book I’ve purchased that was narrated by this man(I should look closer before buying books). And, while he annunciates well, his speed and cadence will put you to sleep or fall into background noise in five minutes. The only way I can get thru them is set the speed at least to 2x or higher, just to force my brain into focusing to keep up with being said

Important Book, Terrible Narration

I've given this book an overall high score because of how important its content is. It is a book that I believe every Christian should read once in their lifetime. However the narration was terrible, clearly done by a robot, and quite frankly ruined the listening experience. Had to endure and push through the unnatural voice just because I wanted to benefit from the content.
