Not sure who the target audience is
This very short course starts out fine with basic expressions that clearly satisfy the goal stated at the beginning to help a visitor to Croatia understand some basic expressions. But by the second or third lesson, it gets way too advanced. The expressions will introduce multiple new words at once and the speakers speak too fast and slur together words so you often don't know what they are saying. I've completed the much, much longer and excellent Pimsleur 30-lesson course on Croatian literally dozens of times now, and there is quite a bit in this course that I can't understand! So it begs the question: who is the intended audience of this course? I think this whole course was very poorly thought-out.
Alsoz the recording is poor and chintzy, especially compared to the outstanding quality of the Pimsleur Croatian course.
The only reason I don't give rhis course one star is it does give some expressions in the informal. The Pimsleur course is entirely in the formal and this is a shame because you're going to hear much Croatian on the informal and not knowing that is a huge hole on the Pimsleur system.
Conclusion: if you have already completed the Pimsleur course multiple times and are desperate to learn more Croatian especially since there is so little Croatian language courses on Audible, then maybe this is worth it. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
