The most boring read

I have trouble imagining the person who would like this book. The plot lumbers on. The characters are not interesting. As literature, it lacks in imagination and even interesting vocabulary. It is a total bore.

Brilliant!

I couldn't wait for this to be released, I love this author and the narrators are fantastic. I have listened to all of Jessica's books so it was really heartwarming to dive back into Whitsborough Bay and catch up with the characters and meet new ones. It was like visiting old friends and family.
I will admit I did get emotional a few times. It brought out many feels. I really did not want this to end, so again I wait very impatiently for the next book that this author brings out. Although it was definitely worth the wait!

Not my usual fare but thought I’d try. Fairy tales to escape to. Why did I persevere with this sugary …,,,,,

Pure escapism….

I’ve just finished this book after reading all the others by Jessica Redland. Narrated beautifully, stories of love, loss, happiness and yes, I know, you think you know the ending but it’s lovely to be part of such joy. Escape from the harshness of daily life with this fabulous author.

Voices

The narrators were fine when they spoke normally but when they did voices for different characters it was cringeworthy & annoying.
Story was ok, not as good as some of the others in the series but easy to listen to.

Narration and accents disappointing

Sadly I found that the accents portrayed on this story were dreadful. The character of Tory seemed to be reading most of the time too and slightly expressionless. Shame as it took the edge off a nice story.
