Publisher's Summary
Genevieve Buchanan inherited a castle—and a ghost to go along with it. But Kendrick de Piaget was no typical ghost. He was a handsome and infuriatingly arrogant 13th-century knight. At first, he wanted to frighten Genevieve, though she was more charmed than scared by his ghostly tricks. But when his thoughts turned to wooing her instead, Genevieve had to face her greatest fear: falling in love.

Couldn't wait to hear this one!
What made the experience of listening to Stardust of Yesterday the most enjoyable?
I read the book years ago when it was first published, loved it and was looking for it to add to my Kindle library. I was pleased and delighted to see it in your audio collection. I started listening and was not dissappointed at all. Loved it from beginning to end.
What did you like best about this story?
The whole idea of a love story between a handsome medevial ghost and a modern woman as just too yummy to resist.
What does Ilyana Kadushin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She truly gave life to the characters in the story. I was not disappointed with her take on how each character sounded.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I loved the story the first time I read it and simply loved the audio version as well. Every emotion I felt when I read it came back and hit me as I listened.
Any additional comments?
Will look for some of my other favorites narrated by llyana Kadushin.

The story is entertaining although too long and has many inconsistencies. But a Lynn Kurland hero needs an appropriately deep and manly voice. Yuck.

Kendrick Emasculated
If you could sum up Stardust of Yesterday in three words, what would they be?
My favorite book
What did you like best about this story?
I loved that Kendrick loved Genevieve and Genevieve loved Kendrick so much that it transcended the curse.
What didn’t you like about Ilyana Kadushin’s performance?
Everything! There was no emotion behind the performance. She took all the humanness out of the characters. She gave Kendall this breathy woman's voice when she should have given him a strong, arrogant, sensitive and sexy voice. Kendrick is a braggart like Robin, his dad. He should have been gruff and funny. She also gave the voices of her characters no inflection at all. Kendrick was nothing like the character she portrays. She emasculated him. I know he was a ghost but she took all his substance away, all his humor and emotion. I am sooo very disappointed because I love this book and was looking forward to listening to it over and over again. I wish I could send it back to Audible and get another book with a better reader. How did this woman get this job!! Please, let Davina Porter(exceptional reader), Simon Preble or even Jenny Sterlin( although she makes her characters sound mentally underdeveloped because she speaks too slowly sometimes) re-read this book. At least they know how to define an audio character. This woman should seek a new career or at least a new genre of book to read.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yeah. When he tells her that he doesn't hear her packing, when he calls her at the hotel room in London. I love that whole phone conversation! Then I love it when the Inspector drives her back to the castle and Kendrick is standing there waiting for her looking all sexy and they have this mental conversation thing going. I love this book!
Any additional comments?
Is it possible to have a new reader read this book? I would be willing to purchase the book if they have a new reader read the book. I am afraid to buy any more Lynn Kurland audiobooks for fear that this Kadushin lady will butcher them.

Lynn Kurland is by far my favorite author. I love how she weaves her stories together so you cross paths with beloved characters throughout her stories finding out how their story lives are progressing while meeting new characters with each book. I have all her novels in paperback form but find little times these days to sit and read. I can though enjoy listening while I work. I have already listened to this story many times. I wish she had her whole collection in audio too. I would buy every one!

Starts well then becomes repetitivie
the story starts well and the ghost heroine relationship is fun.... there's some baddies to add spice except....
the baddies don't really feature much and the book become endless iterations of romance angst....which is fine...except audio books are slower than reading and even read I suspect it would get tedious..... when it goes on for hours (no exagerration) it's just dull.
I can't touch the ghost ,,,,,it's so awful. OK yes it is..... but not for over an hour or more.
I am scared to sleep with a man....OK, fair enough...but after multiple iterations it's just yawn,
I got to within 1.5 hours of finishing and just gave up.
