Publisher's Summary

Nestled on the Maine coast, Blueberry Cove is a peaceful retreat compared to the excitement of exotic cities and foreign lands. But it's also the best place in the world for one woman to find her heart's true home. Kerry McCrae's wanderlust has taken her to parts of the globe most people have only glimpsed in pictures. So why is tending bar at the family pub in Blueberry Cove after her Uncle Fergus's stroke an easier adjustment than she expected? And why hasn't she left once Fergus is back on his feet?

When tall, tanned Cooper Jaxton walks through the door, she knows the answer in a heartbeat. Born and raised deep in Australia's outback, Cooper never planned to leave the wild country he loves. But after almost a year of having Kerry - with her sparkling eyes and outrageous stories - on his cattle station, Cooper was stunned when she left. Suddenly home wasn't the same without her. Making his way to Blueberry Cove to find her is a risk, but Cooper is counting on the passionate connection between them to convince her that the only place either of them needs to be is together...let the honeymoon begin....

Starfish

Another great read! I live Donna Kauffman's writing style. The book is warm, funny and sexy. Cooper is the sexy Aussie cattleman and Kerry the wanderlust beauty. Don't miss the book , or any book by Donna Kauffman. Ms Ronconi is an awesome narrator slipping into each characters voice easily

Starfish Moon

Good story and excellent close to a well written trilogy. Some erotic narrative seems misplaced, but overall dos not distract from the story. It’s just that some situations don’t require it in order to get the point across.

Not as good as the prior 2 books

I'm not sure if Cassie falls flat or the story line isn't s strong as the prior 2 books, but this one was a struggle to get through. the romance wasn't as interesting, felt like the author was tired of the series. It doesn't have the passion behind the characters. I was disappointed.

WOW boring cheesy & predictable!!!

Dear Goodness this was a long winded snoozefest!
The 1st chapter is a huge information dump of over a dozen towns people and their spouses. It is so overwhelming g I started to worry I'd needed a score card. Then chapter 2 is supposed to start the heart of the story... the love story and that is where it all goes wrong.

Golly the enormous details take the reader down such a rabbit hole it almost detracts you from the lack of chemistry or romance between these two. Almost! Have you ever heard someone tells such a long story you are wanting to pull out your hair yelling GET TO THE POINT?!
The coupling feels forced and purely physical. Yep that's the soul of this book. and Wow dont get me started on the spoiled, selfishFMC. I could barely stomach her, she is so full of herself.

So I'm sure you are getting the pitcure I didn't like it, however... here and there are bits of cute dialog and unique moments, (note passing & names) mainly on the MMCs part.

The last chapter sets up for I assume yet another book but is told from the yearning of a 14y/o ... and again drones on about the most uninteresting details. Well isn't that fitting.

In conclusion:
Book 1 was ok, book 2 was great but book 3? Well, a slight cut below average.

I love this series but ...

...this one has so many chapters devoted to one couple's sex life that I firstly, began to think this was all they had in common and secondly nearly gave up with the yawn of it all. Fortunately the situation was retrieved at the last minute and it was back to the best bit - the brilliant interaction between the wider cast of characters. Phew!

Utterly awfall

Just dreadful - utterly pointless story - badly narrated - Irish and Aussie accents are really awful! Don’t waste your time on this one - lots of much, much better books out there.

An easy but predictable read

was the third of this author's books I've listened to, clearly follows a tried and tested story line.

Didn't enjoy this at all

I listened to the end because that's what I do.
The storyline was so boring. I give the author a shout out for dragging out lust between 2 characters for so long to make it a book. There were some characters like Harding and the new barmaid with her dogs that could have turned this story into something interesting. They were introduced but there was no development of either of their stories.

The "Aussie" accent was appalling - sounding more like a Texan drawl. "Aussies" don't have root beer in their fridge, and you don't make kangaroo stew from wallabies, same family but different animal. At least the geographical aspects were correct.

And finally, the epilogue is about a character barely in the book. Maybe that is leading to another book or series, but I won't be finding out.

Kerry, the wild one

Kerry has returned home for her sister’s wedding.
She stays, as another sister decides to marry.
She says very little about her wandering, but the family knows she spent over 12 months on an outback station in Australia.
Usually, she doesn’t spend that much time in one place.
She is the sister closest to their Uncle Fergus. He has a stroke, and she stays to look after him.
Cooper Jaxton, an Aussie farmer turns up. Kerry was less than pleasant!
If someone made the effort to travel half-way around the world to visit me, I hope I’d be nicer. After all she does have feelings for the man.
Cooper’s Aussie accent was cringe- worthy. 😵‍💫
