Publisher's Summary

First Book in a Heart-Consuming Series.

In a desperate final attempt to save 19-year-old Mia from herself, she gets transferred to Dolor University, a reformatory college in the UK that housed deranged and dangerous young adults who viewed the private institution as their own personal playground. Mia didn’t care. She needed feelings to care. She’d keep her head down, ignore everyone, and make it through the next two years effortlessly.

Though Mia never anticipated Ollie Masters. With green eyes, tattoos, and the voice of a poet, she is quickly drawn to him. But because of her sociopath tendencies, she knows it could only end in one of two ways. Either he will be the one to free her from her past, or she will be the one to destroy him. **WARNING: Mature content, adult language, graphic sexual content, and disturbing matters may trigger an emotional response. Speechless

I have raved about this series for years. I will always find a way to recommend this series because it is phenomenal. But I just finished the audio and I am speechless. Lilly Drake is Mia. In my opinion I have never heard a narrator nail a book so perfectly. I feel all of the emotions in Lilly's voice as she was narrating and it was absolutely beautiful. I am 100% amazed at her performance. I cannot wait to listen to the next two in this series.

Absolutely brilliant!!

Oh my WORD!!
Stay With Me is a story that seeped into my soul since I first read it and this audiobook adds an extra dimension that literally gives voices to Mia and Ollie— both Lilly Drake and Michael Gallagher portray them so well. It’s like I get to relive this book like the first time, only to be hit me much harder than I could ever anticipate.
For first time readers/ listeners: there are triggers and sensitive topics; this book is an emotional journey and I can only hope it makes you feel as much as I do.

Amazing!

Stay With Me by Nicole Fiorina is a reformatory college romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lilly Drake and Michael Gallagher. This is the first book in the Stay With Me Series.

The book does with a warning "Mature content, adult language, graphic sexual content, and disturbing matters may trigger an emotional response. Read at your own risk."

This was Nicole's debut novel and she knocked it out of the park. I originally read the book in 2019 when it was released and was so excited to see it come to life in audio. Nicole does an amazing job making you feel everything that Mia and Oliver are feeling. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster.

Lilly and Michael did an amazing job on the narration! I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like reformatory college romances, gothic romances, new adult romances, romantic suspense, or psychological thrillers. This book is absolutely amazing.

Amazing!!

I honestly don’t even know now or put into words how much I loved this book. It was PHENOMENAL. The narrators were perfect. Ollie is such a cinnamon roll, and will
forever be one of my favorite book characters. This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions and UGH. JUST UGH. But like, in a good way! I want to gather Ollie up and just hug him forever. I cannot wait to dive into Even When I’m Gone ASAP, because I need more of this story immediately!

Emotional story of being lost and found

Fiorina writes stories in a poetical format. I don't generally read contemporary romance, it's too real for me. there is already enough real in the world. But, I decided to give this one a try, for whatever reason, and I'm glad I did. Ollie is just precious cupcake that needs to be protected at all costs.

The cast is diverse and screwed up in all different ways. Mia who feels nothing, Ollie who feels too much too intensely, malicious Maddie, quiet zeke, Jake who's only "wrong" was being gay. It's quite a ride. No one in this series is all good or all bad. They've all been crapped on by life and it's going to take some healing.

I like the way the book portrayed therapists. Showing a positive relationship with a therapist...with therapy is such a refreshing scenario. Usually books do the "blah blah, I'm to good for therapy; I'm smarter than therapy, all I have to do is lie." This book was not that, at least not always. of course, there are still all the numerous ways adults let these kids down, but like I said, the characters here are definitely not black and white.

one star off for how boring the sex scenes got. Honestly, they were whole chapters and multiple chapters at that. about 3/4th way through, I just started skipping them all because it was the same thing over and over.

Book ends on a gut wrenching note and definitely make me want to jump right into book 2.

Great!

The story is great the audio is good. She reads a little slow, but it's clear an precise. Felt a little lack of emotions. Good to listen to on a long car ride. The Male voice is everything!

Wow

I thought it would be a super angsty tough girl story and I wasn't interested, but the reviews changed my mind. I loved it and I am a little disappointed with myself for waiting so long to give it a shot. It was an unexpectedly deeply emotional plot. The narration was some of the best I have heard. I felt like Lilly hit the nail on the head matching her voice to the main character and changing tones for each of the characters.

Beautiful & Poetic

Needless to say, as soon as this book ended I purchased the next one right away. Stay With Me was beautifully written and truly poetic. Coming from someone that doesn't struggle with any mental illnesses or behavioral issues, it was very interesting to be in the heads of two people who have struggled in one way or another. This book also gives a really interesting perspective on how medications can effect your daily interactions with acquaintances or loved ones, and understanding the different boundaries that people may have. In addition to that, this is an epic love story between two young adults who not only have to conquer their own inner demons, but also conquer outside circumstances out of their control. The only reason I give the story four stars is because I don't think it needs to be as long as it is. There were definitely a few portions of the story that had no purpose.
