Publisher's Summary

"Friends with benefits, stepbrother with benefits, what's the difference?"

"Um, we're not even friends, Ethan?"

Rule number one - It's only supposed to last for a week....

Ethan is a cocky, arrogant jerk. He's always been that way. I'll never understand why girls trip over themselves just to be with him. Don't they realize he's going to ditch them in a week?

Yes, he can be nice when he feels like it. It's true that he's ridiculously attractive, too. It's not like I want to stare at him when he walks around shirtless, but it's hard not to notice someone with a body made of rock-hard sculpted muscle and sin. He's got that panty-melting bad boy smile that makes you want to....

Did I mention he's my stepbrother? Ick.

What? You think I'm falling for him? Nope! It's impossible.

There's only one problem...I might have accidentally, um...it was just one night, alright? One really good night. Panties? Yup, they're melted.

It was a mistake, it doesn't mean anything.

Sorry, there's two problems. Did I mention our parents are away and we're stuck home alone together for a week?

I'm the responsible one. The good girl with perfect grades. And I'm trapped for a week with a bad boy who showed me what it's like to give in to my wild side.

What's the worst that can happen?

Guilty Pleasure Read!

I only grabbed book 1 to check this serial out before I spent a TON of money on the rest because I normally do not like serials. They always feel like a bunch of pieces instead separate books to me and that is why I only gave this book 3 stars. It was a fun sexy read but it was just a tiny piece and because of that, this part alone felt like nothing really happened in the story. I like a STORY with all the sex and just from listening to this one I think this whole serial will have a great story but I won't even know that until I finish the entire thing. Because of that I now have all the rest of these "pieces" so I can find out if that is true. I won't start the next one until I know I have the time to binge on the entire thing so hopefully it won't feel like it is lacking the way this one did. I have high hopes for the story as a whole.

The narration was great! Both narrators fit the characters perfectly.

It never got interesting

One hour and forty seven minutes. Most of which is her loud boring thinking to herself. If book two is as bad I'm getting my money back for both ! LoL

didn't realize that each book was so short

the books get dragged out in small series. should have been more then four chapters one book should have easily been the whole week but oh well I'm hooked in onto the next one. hoping it's longer but won't hold my breath

Narrators

Story good. Narrators.... I'd have happily kept listening if James Cavenaugh read the whole thing. cJ Bloom was so annoying. her male voice yuck. He over dramatics.... eeewwww. I will read the rest of them on kindle. I can't take her voice. It ruined the whole experience. But, James I can listen to his female voice and his male voice. Love it.

Interesting but…

Different from what I’ve been listening to, which is a lot of stepbrother romance books lately and they were beyond dark so it was nice to listen to one that wasn’t so heavy.

I like the build up and the angst the author is trying to build.

I’m a big fan of CJ Bloom and this is the first book I’ve listened to with James Cavenaugh and enjoyed the pairing. The only issue I have is that the lead FMC is a little bit whiny and with CJ and the story/internal dialogue it can be a bit much.

Looking forward to the others but the author will need to create sets for these books.

steamy step-siblings relationship

(NOTE: I had to look to see if relationships between step-siblings were illegal. Apparently no laws about it. This was offered for free and thus I accepted)

The story of Ethan and Ashley and the development of their advance relationship was nicely written. The narrators were very good at depicting their personalities, reactions and uncertainties. The humor added to the appeal of the story/narration. There were steamy scenes and thus for mature audience only.

so good!!

I'm hooked. This book captured my attention from the description, and that didn't change once I started listening. The narrators do such an awesome job! I love their voices and their tone inflections, they're not robotic when they read.

The story line is awesome..I can't wait to read the next one!.

Hot & steamy - Book 1

Mia Clark’s Stepbrother with benefits book 1 was a steamy short read. CJ Bloom and James Cavenaught are great as Ashley and Ethan. Can’t wait for book 2.

Short & Steamy

Ashley comes home from college after her idiot bf breaks up so he can go with other girls over the break. Ethan her step brother tells her she needs someone better than him and they end up watching a movie and drinking. Ashley dares Ethan thinking he’ll back down but he doesn’t and things go from there. I enjoyed listening to this it was short each episode is only around 90 minutes.

Ashley and Ethan!

Ashley is a smart student who has always done what is expected of her who has recently broken up with her boyfriend and returned from college to spend the summer at home. Ethan is the star quarterback of his college team who can have any woman he wants but never for more than one night.

With her mother and his father out of town for the week the chemistry between them ignites but what happens when the week comes to an end?

This is the first book in the series that introduces us to Ashley, Ethan, their relationship and the chemistry between them. I thought that the narrators did a great job with the characters and their story.

Interesting tease

This one was a very intriguing start to the series and I certainly enjoyed the characters that I met during this book. This is the first time that i have listened to a book in this serial style, and I enjoyed it.
