A grad student's aimless ramblings

This book lacks a clear thesis or structure. It's less a survey of stoicism and much more a grad student's personal endorsement of pop psychology and his personal reflection on the therapy and struggles he's gone through.

This audiobook gave me a lot of information.

The audiobook does a good job at breaking down the origins of Stoicism, the basic tenets, and expanding on each, while giving modern day examples of them. The author shows the modern day applications of Stoicism, showing how applicable the philosophy is in this day and age.

It indicates itself to being a great guide

I felt that this Stoicism audiobook contains a rich core, bookended by some boring and repetitive parts. I still found the information powerful and wonderfully presented.

I really enjoyed

I really enjoyed this audiobook and found it very educational. This was a good introduction to those who want to learn about the darker aspects of psychology. It was written in terms that are very easy to understand and is straight to the point.
