What is truth, and what is reality? 18 May 1975. Duration: 70 minutes. What is truth, and what is reality? Anything that thought thinks about or reacts upon or projects - that is reality. And that reality has nothing to do with truth. The art of seeing is to place reality where it is and not move that in order to get truth. You can't get truth. How am I to empty that consciousness and yet retain knowledge - otherwise I couldn't function - and reach a state which will comprehend reality?

Humanity now, perhaps more than in any previous time, has an opportunity to create a new, saner, more loving world. This will involve a radical inner leap from the current egoic consciousness to an entirely new one. In illuminating the nature of this shift in consciousness, Tolle describes in detail how our current ego-based state of consciousness operates. Then gently, and in very practical terms, he leads us into this new consciousness. We will come to experience who we truly are and learn to live and breathe freely.

Publisher's Summary
These basic lessons and exercises will help you break the habit of negative thinking and begin to experience the joy of Living with the teachings of the Masters of Enlightenment: Eckhart Tolle, Dalai Lama, Ramana Maharshi, Krishnamurti and more!
Scientists estimate that in normal conditions a human being regularly has an average of 30,000 to 40,000 daily thoughts. These crucial findings constitute the starting point of the seven lessons and seven exercises contained in this beginner's guidebook, designed to help you break the habit of negative thinking now!
Lesson I: The Value of Adversity
Exercise: Stopping your Thoughts

Excellent Read to try to stop Negative Thinking
I received this audiobook free for an honest review. There were so many things I have been taught in the past that came to mind when listening to this book. Such as, Happiness is an Inside Job; Hung by your tongue, etc. The exercises were very interesting and I do believe they will be helpful. The narrator did an excellent job with this book.
