Publisher's Summary

Moving into a rundown Victorian house with a vampire living in the basement isn’t as bad as I thought, but things go from weird to weirder when a badly injured gnome collapses in my back yard.

The surprising part? It’s my friend Nin’s long-lost grandfather.

Since he’s unconscious, we can’t figure out who’s chasing him or where he’s been all these years, but if we can’t help him, he’ll die.

To make matters worse, there’s a new dragon in town. A female dragon. Everyone knows females are more dangerous than the males, and this one takes an instant dislike to me. It seems that she wants to date my mate, Zav, and has his mother’s approval.

If I can’t avoid her wrath and find a way to cure the gnome, Nin’s going to lose her grandfather, and I’m going to end up deader than the vampire in the basement.

6 books in less than a week I couldn’t put them down. I love this series and can’t wait for the next 3 books. The series has a bit of everything; action, drama and romance. And you keep asking yourself will they ever...you need to listen to find out what. You won’t be disappointed.

Great Storyline!

What a delight! Lindsay Buroker’s style of writing captivates me with her characters, plots, and creativity! I really enjoy how she lets you look into the thought process of the main character, it allows you to really get to know the individual. I look forward to many more of her books and only pray she keeps writing!

Saucy dialog, vicious dragons ! Most excellent!

The narration and characterisation are wonderful. The story sizzled with snark and adventure! I enjoyed the ride!
I highly recommend the "Death Before Dragons" series!

A good story

Lindsay Buroker's work seldom disappoints and Storm Forged was another good read, with plenty of action and laughs (and some steamy bits). My only complaint for this particular one was that the narrator was spectacularly terrible at doing an Australian accent. I would recommend practice on that one. Otherwise, Leheny does a great job giving life to the characters. I'd love to see more of Zav's uncle in future books.

Wonderful story as always!

Entertaining story and narration is perfect for characters. Love Lindsay's style and the way she builds story lines and characters that we grow to love. This has been a favorite of mine and I hope there is more to come!

Best of be yet

Love the series. Love the snark, the character development, the worlds, developed. And the epilogue had me laughing out loud at 3 in the morning because I had to finish it. Work is going to be tough tomorrow.

This series…

This series is addicting. It’s like Anita Blake but so much better than that book series. (I can say that. I was an avid fan at first of LKH) but this series is so addicting I went through each book almost day by day. As usual Lindsey’s book series creates inspiration for my meager writing attempts and mixed with sheer addiction for the couples and main characters in the book.

I mean, how else do you teach a dragon how to love?

Storm Forged

The characters in this series just draw you in more and more. This was another excellent storyline. The action parts are just right. I like the smooth flow. The only thing that disturbed me was the narrator, Vivienne Lehney’s, atrocious Australian accent. It was almost painful. Lehney had been doing a fine job up until then. You get so drawn into the action and character interplay that any one who disturbes the flow is in danger of your immediate wrath. I am looking forward to the next book.

Storm Forged

Best book in this exciting series. Action is intense and romance erotic. Ms. Leheny narration is spot on.
Though you need to read the prior books in the series to fully appreciate the story it is worth it.
Bravo Ms Buroker!
Highly recommend this book for urban fantasy fans.

Great end to a Great series

The final book (well, there are two more about Val's sword, chopper) is an excellent end to this series. The voice performance is really good, except for the Australian accent which sounded more like an Irish one, it didn't detract from the story though.

The story is excellently written and flows well from start to finish, with just the right mix of action and humour. I recommend this book and the entire Death before Dragons series.

Great book

I was excited when I saw another book had been released, and I really enjoyed this addition to the series. Only slight negative is the narrator was dreadful at the Australian doctor’s voice, but he has such a minor part it didn’t bother me too much. Looking forward to more books!

Excellent Series

Great series. Very entertaining. The reader is very good….however, her Australian accent was atrocious and not even close.

Great Read

Wonderful, apart from the Australian accent, which is more South African or even Irish. Definitely, not Australian! Why do people have so much trouble with a Australian accent?

Riviting story

Love the series but as an Australian dislike the way the narrator portrays an Aussie accent
