Publisher's Summary

He loves the sweet life.

Greg Hutchins is reluctantly adulting these days. He’s settled in his job, recently bought his first house, and has a network of friends he can call family. But there’s something missing in his life, and he can’t quite put his finger on it. When he’s assigned to a case that involves investigating a biochemical company, he meets a woman who’s sweeter than any candy. Maybe she’s just the thing to make him feel complete.

She’s ready for the future.

Noelle LaVigne has faced plenty of tragedy in her life, but she’s on the right path now. Between her new job and settling into a new city, she’s got no time for dating or relationships. She’s worked hard to get where she is, and no man is going to push her off track. Except the minute Hutch crosses her path she can’t seem to think about anything but the handsome security expert. He’s there to find a corporate spy, but late-night work sessions make her think they’ve both found something much more meaningful.

A twist they never saw coming.

When the case becomes dangerous, both of their futures are on the line. And when the bullets start flying, they will have to learn to trust in each other if they hope to survive.

Hutch’s story at last.

Submission Impossible is the first book in the Masters and Mercenaries: Reloaded series. And it is a wildly amazing ride. Hutch has always been one of my favorite characters. He is smart, sexy and Utterly devoted to those he calls family. We first got to meet Noelle in Butterfly Bayou when she was a 16-year-old girl struggling to overcome A tragedy. I never dreamed that these two will come together and be the missing pieces of each other. This book felt like coming home to old friends and watching them become who they’re supposed to be. A lot of our old favorite show up in this book from Ian, Michael, Erin, Lisa, and of course Adam. We also got to meet some new characters like Kyle,MaeBe, and there’s a new villain on the horizon. Lexi Blake is always a must buy for me and this book blew me out of the water.
And if you are listening Ryan West is an amazing narrator who brings the world of McKay-Taggart to life.

LEXI DOES IT AGAIN WITH RYAN THE ICING ON THR CAKE

Lexi Blake is a "go to" author as soon as a pre-order goes up I'm one clicking. Teamed up with the amazing sexy voice of Ryan West again just ensures the execution is going be 10 * plus. Once again she has written a wonderful story with the usual twists plots and action that leaves me desperate for the next one. So good to catch up with Big Tag & Adam from the original series to see where those characters are at after all these years and even happier Big Tag hasn't lost any of his sarcasm & wit. Am I obsessed with her characters ?? That would be a yes & I'm counting down the days for the next one.

If you haven't read or listened to Masters & Mercenaries and the spin offs you are so missing out !!
Highly recommend you start asap.

Lexi Blake can grab me every time!

Hutch, Noelle and the rest of the characters display humor, frustration, and the chaos that real life brings. They are relatable, funny, heart-breaking, and complex. There is definitely heat and sizzle....and a GREAT story.

This was one of my favorite stories. I always like way Ryan West narrates. It is nice for the reminders during the reading of why things are a certain way.

One more solid addition to the series

love visiting Sanctum every so often and this title didn't disappoint. I did find the h's naivette and stubborn refusal to listen to explanations tedious and irritating but then that was her personality. Nevertheless I liked revising old friends and look forward to the next one.

next generation and I'm here for it!!

I'm so damn happy Hutch got his story!! I've loved his character for what feels like forever.
Just another reason I love this world Lexi has created.
Noelle is the perfect match for Hutch and they are a great kickoff to the next generation M &M..
As always, Lexi keeps the reader on their toes throughout the book and the eplilogue is a cryptic segue to the the book!

Great story and narration

Whenever I pick up a book by Lexi Blake I know that I am in for a captivating read and Submission Impossible was no different. I was excited to learn of this new branch of the Masters and Mercenaries series. This is Greg Hutchins and Noelle LaVigne’s story. Greg is used to being behind the scenes handling for McKay Taggart and is not used to being out in the field. Shocked when he is given a field assignment he has no idea that he will finally find the piece that has been missing from his life.
Ryan West did a fantastic job with the narration and had me fully invested in his performance
Noelle has had a hard life but she is now on track, focused on her job and not much else. When danger rears it’s head, it is up to Hutch to convince Noelle that she can trust him and the feelings that are developing between them.
Submission Impossible is a fast paced story filled with suspense, danger, intrigue and emotions that had me on the edge of my seat. Lexi Blake had me fully invested from the first chapter to the last and I have no hesitation in recommending this book.

Book Cover got me. What a beautiful man!

Noelle is an innocent in a den of vipers- well one - and it’s her boss!
The strange setup at work is the reverse of what actually happens with research- we hope!
This is a gripping story.
The D&S background is enlightening to the uninitiated.
Definitely following up with other books in the series.

A great start to the next McKay-Taggart generation

I am a proud fan of all things Lexi Blake and anything she publishes is an automatic preorder/one-click for me... this was no different. Greg "Hutch" Hutchins has been in the McKay-Taggart Masters & Mercenaries universe since Book #8 (and this book is #23) so we've been waiting a long time for this candy-loving man to found a HEA. And he does so with Noelle - a character we meet in the Butterfly Bayou series, daughter of Papillion Sheriff Armie LaVigne. These two have an instant connection - which scares them both in a way (Noelle moreso than Hutch) - and I loved reading along as their love story developed.
Another great addition to an incredible series ... and with the introduction of a baddie I'm sure we're all going to love to hate, I cannot wait for more!!

Ryan West once again brings these characters to life and it wouldn't be M&M without this fantastic voice!!

Wow

Once again Lexi’s mastery at telling a story pulls you in till all hours. Couldn’t put it down . Loved this story of Hutch just knowing she was the one. Whilst Noelles insecurities just held her back a little. Till Hutch wore her down with love and honesty. A great read.
