Fun Enemies to Lovers Rom-Com

Review: I just listened to the audiobook for my 2nd read through by Heather Firth and Connor Crais. Connor definitely stole the show! He may be my new favorite narrator! He did such an amazing job bringing Sebastian's humor to life. I was cracking up. Heather is newer for me, but I thought she did a good job bringing Valentina to life. I really enjoyed this book even more being brought to life by these narrators.

This was my second book by Kristy Marie. It was a cute read with a lot of funny parts. I loved Sebastian from IOU and was so excited for his story. Valencia aka Vee is a college Freshman who would rather stay at home and watch scary movies with popcorn or go to the K9 rescue animal shelter, than go to a party. Sebastian aka Bash*hole is the mysterious funny guy. The guy to always make you laugh and internet famous on MyView with his videos. He is strong willed and won't give up without a fight or a prank in Vee's case. Valencia and Sebastian both became internet famous on MyView. They are most notably known for their prank videos on each other. Something happened between them to turn them from friends into enemies. Desperate to win the campus contest, UniCamFlix on MyView, Sebastian comes up with a plan, what could go wrong pretending to be dating your enemy for the sake of views...This is definitely a slow-burn romance, with banter and funny inner thoughts from the characters. We also get to meet more of Aspen and Bennett, along with his twin Drew. Aspen and Bennett are next. I can't wait for them! Bennett and Drew are protective of Valentina and Aspen and its some of my favorite parts!🤣

Love Bash & Valentina so much!

I gave it 4 stars until I listening to it then I bumped it to 5 stars! Kristy Marie has picked the perfect narrators for Sebastian & Vee. They truly were exactly as I imagined them in my head when I read the book. This is the 2nd audiobook I have listened to by this author and they just keep getting better and better. If you've read the book or not I recommend listening to the audiobook.

Fake Dating + Enemies to lovers = Straight Fire

Valentina goes to college at Havemeyer University with her best friend Aspen and her bitter rival Sebastian. Both are social media stars in their own right and were engaged in a savage prank war that helped increase both of their views. Vee took it a little too far and they went from being mostly unfriendly but useful competition to complete foes.

Despite their animosity towards one another when the University CamFlix Competition starts and both of their views are down, Sebastian hatches a plan to put them both on top together as long as they don’t kill each other first. Both of their viewers already have shipped them together since their prank war days so why not give them what they want and play out a fake relationship for views. What could possibly go wrong?

I love the fake dating trope and add in enemies to lovers and I’m here for this all day long. Kristy holds on to the mystery of what Vee did to Sebastian for so long I was bursting at the seams to find out and damn is it a good one. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and will have you tingling with anticipation for when they finally get together. I loved that despite seeming like a shallow bash-hole, Sebastian had such an interesting back story. It made me love him so much more.

The narrators were fantastic. Especially Connor Crais as Sebastian. I already know I loved Heather Firth’s narration as she also did IOU but I loved that Vee and Ainsley felt very different despite having the same narration which is just the sign of a great narrator!

Highly recommend this book and the ebook! It has a snarky unapologetic heroine with her perfect match. What more could you ask for?

I’m uncertain why Subscriber Wars isn’t getting better reviews? Truthfully I liked this much better than IOU by Kristy Marie. The pranks and storyline were all to cute.

Right from the start, both characters sucked me in with there funny pranks and hate for each other. This fake relationship enemies to lovers romance book was entertaining, hilarious, and steamy all wrapped up in one!

Sebastian aka Bash was a bash-hole, but with a sweet swooning side to him that I loved and Valentina aka Vee was this sassy I can do it myself girl that I enjoyed very much. It’s refreshing to see a girl that can’t be push over so easily.

Kristy Marie did a awesome job with this book and I highly recommend reading it… 📖

Audiobook review: 5 stars goes to Connor Crais and Heather Firth for doing a fabulous job! They both are incredible narrators!

Another Wonderful Book

This book was amazing, hot but funny also. The narrators really brought back to life for me. Where is the credit!

Not the best voices.

The story was ok but, both of the voices used here did not due it for me 🤦🏻‍♀️

Fun and original romcom with a twist!!

This book is a fun, hilarious, sexy and original story that will surprise you in the best of ways! Kristy Marie has yet again created a unique and laugh out loud story with characters who you will fall in love with. The story of Sebastian "Bash" and Valentina "Vee" will pull you in from the first pages and you will be addicted. It is a unique story-telling that leaves you turning the pages faster and faster to find out "the secret" and wondering how this push and pull relationship between them will end up. Needless to say, there are a lot of fun pranks, some anticipated side characters who you will not get enough of and leave you wanting more, cameos from our beloved CiB crew, and sweet, sexy and angsty scenes between Bash & Vee.

I loved every side of Bash-hole...his cocky and confident charming ways to his boyish grin and dimples to his jerky pranks. He is so lovable and deserved his HEA!!! I loved that we saw a deeper side to Bash's insecurities that he tries to hide, and his story reflected the true meaning of family, unconditional love, and chasing after your dreams. Vee is just as feisty as her mom and as compassionate as her dad. I loved every scene she was in...her witty banter, her friendship with Aspen and the guys, and her genuine love and nurturing nature with Bash. She was made to love this guy!!

This book will have you laughing out loud, wanting to play poker with the guys, swooning over Bash and wanting more of every single character in this book!! Vee & Bash were a refreshing read - fun-loving, passionate and oh so real! Bravo Kristy Marie for yet another fabulous and brilliant read! Can't wait for more to come from these characters!

5 When the Pranks Make Me Snort Laugh Stars!

I read this book last year when it was released and as I was looking for an audiobook to give me some laughs this is one of the first audiobooks I thought of because I loved Bash and Vee so much!! I had so much fun listening to this story and I'd forgotten how much I'd laughed at some of their pranks and listening to Ms. Firth and Mr. Crais bring them to life had a huge smile on my face from beginning to end. There were also some touching moments along with some swoon-worthy and fanning myself moments too! I highly recommend this audiobook as it's a great listen especially this time of year while being outside and enjoying the warmer weather!

I absolutely LOVE Bash and Vee! This book from the very beginning had me rolling with the opening scene of Vee breaking into Bash’s apartment for one of her pranks. Their war has reached new levels even for them as this book progresses. Bash and Vee are perfect together… they both know what they want and go after it and that’s to win!!

This book had me rolling with how snarky and sassy these characters were. They’ll go to any length to have their prank be the best one yet. But what this book also has is heart and plenty of heat!! And when Bash and Vee give in to the pull they have towards each other holy moly they’re on fire!!!

This book is full of fun innuendos, poker games that I want to play in and friendship that can be tested at almost every turn. I loved how this book flowed with the flashbacks to prior events which made it a great read because I just wasn’t sure what was coming next.

I adore how Ms. Marie writes her books. She draws us in with wit and fabulous characters making us care about them and gives us a story that in this case, had me snort laughing my way through a lot of chapters. Her humor is phenomenal to come up with some of these pranks!! And let’s not forget about the secondary characters that play some pivotal roles in this story. I for one am on board for all the books she wants to write set in this world!!

Great Listen!

I love Sebastian and Valentina's story. This story sucks you right in from the prologue that had me dying to know what she did that she was apologizing for. Then we are introduced to Valentina and her friends who if you read Kristy's Commander in Briefs Series know these are their kids (Super excited and hope they all get a story). I love the banter between these two. I enjoyed reading as these two struggle between their hate relationship and the lines they cross in their fake relationship. Great story and wonderful characters. As always leaves me wanting more. I've read the story and now I listened to and it was just as great as the first time. The narrators did a great job telling the story.

When I read this book I was beyond excited to get the first official next gen book for the CIB group! This book was just as good in audio as it was reading it!
