Hilarious

Bit vulgar in a few spots but hilarious and interesting. Only reason for a 4 was that I had to click into each one separately.

Entertaining but gets schticky quickly

Sue Perkins herself provides great narration and is very entertaining. However, the frequent cutaways for the comedy bits disturb the flow of info too often for my taste. The narrator's wittiness would easily be enough to carry the podcast by itself without resorting to these often formulaic little skits.

Lighthearted learning

Sue, who obviously loves animals, introduces us to some of nature's oddballs. In short snatches of about 11 minutes long, each animal is introduced with great humor and good will. We learn just enough to feel enlightened but never bored. She has a few guest voices to add their funny takes. All in all, these are terrific short educational lectures that feel like a clever comedy routine.

Sue Perkins delivers many laughs

I decided I wanted to listen to these because I loved Sue in the Great British Baking show. She does not disappoint. Many laughs in between real facts. Makes it fun to learn odd facts.

Love Animals? Love Sue Perkins? Listen!

Would you listen to Sue Perkins Presents Zoopedia again? Why?

I am a Sue Perkins fan and her quirky, funny little animal stories are like a sort of Horrible Histories for animals. Funny facts and little sketch comedy style jokes. Also very informative. I just wish there were more!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sue Perkins Presents Zoopedia?

The Pink Fairy Armadillo had me reaching for Google images to see if it was real. (It is!)

What does the narrator bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Sue Perkins quirky, funny comments and pop culture references were great

Any additional comments?

More Sue please!

Informative but tedious

I love Sue Perkins and honestly I enjoy her humour and narration. However, the little "sketches" between information sometimes drag on way too long and sometimes take up most of the running time. I personally would prefer a more information based podcast but each to their own, can't argue with it being free.

Good content, not so keen on the little sketches

Sue is great, but some of the little sketches between her talking... Eh. Some are a little funny, but they get kinda tedious.
On the whole, interesting info, told in a simple way with a few little jokes. Good for kids and adults alike.

Very good but...

Rather adolescent in tone and why does Sue seem to hate every single animal she meets?

Fun, Crazy and Odd

A fun series about the oddities in the animal world. It is a bite sized and memorable look into some of the strange creatures and their odd bodies/habits. And of course there were some Australian critters staring as the strange creatures around.
