Publisher's Summary

The New York Times bestselling “taut, sophisticated thriller” (BCCB, starred review) packed with twists and turns that will leave you breathless.

They say Delia burned herself to death in her stepfather’s shed. They say it was suicide.

But June doesn’t believe it.

June and Delia used to be closer than anything. Best friends in that way that comes before everyone else—before guys, before family. It was like being in love, but more. They had a billion secrets, binding them together like thin silk cords.

But one night a year ago, everything changed. June, Delia, and June’s boyfriend Ryan were just having a little fun. Their good time got out of hand. And in the cold blue light of morning, June knew only this—things would never be the same again.

And now, a year later, Delia is dead. June is certain she was murdered. And she owes it to her to find out the truth…which is far more complicated than she ever could have imagined.

Sexy, dark, and atmospheric, Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls will keep you guessing until the very end.

Toxic friendships!

I don't understand these YA books! This was a top ten book for young adult students. It was an interesting mystery until the truth was slowly revealed. The conspiracy of two led to including additional people, then included murder. I'm thinking to myself "these are high school students doing this". I can't imagine but I have to remember this is fiction. In the end, the reader is left to decide what they "think" happened based on the last letter. Teens have so much drama in their lives they don't need reckless ideas planted in their heads but this is popular with them. Not worth my credit.

Worth the read

This book was great. Kept my interest throughout the whole thing. The middle was something I never saw coming, so that added the shock factor. However, the ending..what the…. Hated it and was left with far too many questions and no answers. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars
There has to be a second book??!!

Expected more

I expected more. It almost felt abrupt. June and Delia have this very close relationship but we never really know why they’re so codependent. Also, a lot is left unanswered. Which isn’t really a bad thing but it gave nothing to the story to leave it all untold. Overall, this was eh. I wouldn’t reread it or recommend it but it was an easy quick listen.
