Publisher's Summary

Note: This is a summary and not the original book.

Estimated listening time: Two hours, 20 minutes

As equally important as The 48 Laws of Power and The Art of Seduction, The 33 Strategies of War by Robert Greene is a comprehensive guide to human interaction which reveals how the most ingenious and effective principles of warfare can be applied to the battles and conflicts we encounter in our lives.

Each chapter is a strategy aimed at solving a particular problem that you will often encounter in your daily struggles. The strategies range from the basic strategies of classical warfare to the dirty and unconventional strategies of modern times, and can be applied to struggles of any kind: military or corporate warfare, business or marketing campaigns, politics or social dynamics, and personal or professional relationships.

This summary highlights the key ideas and captures the most important lessons found in the original book. If you’ve already read the original, this summary will serve as a reminder of main ideas and key concepts. If you haven’t, don’t worry, here you will find every bit of practical information that you can apply. But we do encourage you to purchase the original as well for a much more comprehensive understanding of the subject.

Thank you for this!

Fantastic summary of the original book! Easy to understand and digest! While the “48 Laws of Power” can be considered the modern day equivalent of Machiavelli’s “The Prince”, “The 33 Strategies of War” is definitely the actual counterpart of Sun Tzu’s “Art of War”. I strongly recommend them to anyone interested in mastering the art of social interactions or becoming successful in any competitive field.

I absolutely loved this summary.

It gave a concise and straight to the point overview of every chapter. Can’t say anything bad about it as it helped me to understand all the strategies in a very fast and easily digestible manner. Will give the original a shot too!
