Publisher's Summary

Note: This is a summary, and not the original book.

Estimated listening time: 2 h 45 min

As equally important as The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction is an indispensable primer of persuasion that offers the best lessons on how to get what you want from whomever you want, and how to prevent yourself from falling under someone else’s spell.

The book reveals the two sides of seduction: the characters, and the process. The first part of the book gets to the heart of each seductive character and its main tactics, strengths, and weaknesses. It also provides instruction on how to identify each potential victim by type, and how to pick the one that is perfect for you.

Part II goes through the 24 steps and strategies of the seductive process - the ritual by which a seducer gains control over their target. These steps will guide you through the seduction, providing cunning instructions to help you master this subtle and elusive form of power.

This summary highlights the key ideas and captures the most important lessons found in the original book. If you’ve already read the original, this summary will serve as a reminder of main ideas and key concepts. If you haven’t, don’t worry, here you will find every bit of practical information that you can apply. But we do encourage you to purchase the original, as well for a more comprehensive understanding of the subject.

My favorite so far!

I've listened to many Winning Mindset summaries. Their summaries are on point and a massive time saver. This one in particular is my favorite. It helped me understand the patterns and types of people that seduce or are seduced, as well as the seductive process. Part one is just a background but part 2 has the meat I am looking for. Gaining such insight into this art of seduction is really fascinating!

Clear, concise, with a great narrator. No robotic narration. Definitely recommend to better understand the concept.

Fantastic summary.

This is a fantastic summary of the international bestseller The Art of Seduction. The two sides of seduction – the seductive characters and the seductive process – are completely fleshed out and encapsulated in a very easy to understand way.
Seduction is so much more than the act of enticing someone into sexual intercourse; it is an art that allows you to bend a person’s will to your benefit through a myriad of strategies that involve the mind and emotions.

Wow.

I was blown away by this book. I actually got it for my writing. I wanted to understand how people attract others. This book goes way beyond that.

Partly, I was able to relate to this book. I can see that everyone has a bit of the different kind of seducer in us. Of course, we change who we are for different people.

This book is geared towards sex, though, with relationships following second. It was kind of eerie to read how easily people can slip into a suit that fits their intended target. On the other hand, it was very powerful to note exactly what kind of victim I am. It was so obvious! I had no idea that I was a victim, but this book points out how all of us are. Everyone is flawed, like the author says, and that leaves us open to certain types of seducers, whether it be for sex or for other purposes.

A concise but comprehensive guide to seduction.

Each type of seducer is described and the target they may be interested in. And most importantly, what could go wrong. I didn’t even realize there could be so many types of seducers and targets. I would recommend this guide to romance writers so they could get the romance correct for each couple they write about. Will get the original as well

Great summary of Robert Greene’s masterpiece.

I’ve actually read the full book, and this summary hit all the main points of the book, but took much less time to finish. Great refresher!
