Will definitely be one of my kids listen

Bought this book as a means to an end of a decade of nothingness and a new year of something different. All I can say is ... Wow! I had no idea all this time. I wish this book was something I listen to a lot sooner. This book has opened my eyes and mind to a different way of life and thinking. I'm excited to implement what I've learned in my life. This book will definitely be one of my kids listen before they go off into the world.

Great listen for thinking

This book is a great listen for thinking about how money is seen differently. I was hooked the second I started to listen to it. Very easy to get into because it related a lot to me and my life of how I was taught to view money. Book did a good job of making me realize I've spent my life playing it safe because of fear of risk.

I didn't expect all that knowledge to fit inside

The book was small I didn't expect all that knowledge to fit inside a small pocketbook but it does. I don't mind the size because I take it with me to work and put it in my pocket and listen to it whenever I have time. Great price too. I can't stress the importance of listening to this book. Life-changing.

Helps you understand money and, believe me

Rich Dad Poor Dad helps you understand money and, believe me, if you have not listened to this book, you, like me, do not understand how money works. If you think your house is an asset, listen to this book. Your house is a liability. Anything not making you money is a liability. Rental property is an asset. The house you live in is not. There is so much to be learned from listening to this book.

I've learned a lot

After listening to this book, I've learned a lot. It's possible to push aside fear and hesitation and do things that not only takes me out of my comfort zone but also takes me out of my financial slump.

I grew up knowing that working a 9 to 5 job

Throwing in the fact that I am a millennial, my parents haven't shared any financial tips when I was growing up. I didn't understand the importance of being financially secure nor did I understand the importance of credit scores. I grew up knowing that working a 9 to 5 job and getting 401K was the "safe" thing to do. Fast forward - I am now 34 years old with three kids and still working paycheck to paycheck, trying to figure out how to make it big in the world and make my money work for me (as Robert Kiyosaki says).

This book is by far one of the greatest books

This book is by far one of the greatest books I have ever listen. It is explained practically and could be easily understood by a fifth-grader. Moreover, the financial knowledge shared in this book is a step in the right direction towards breaking the chain of generational poverty present in one's family.

Starts the path towards financial literacy

Robert’s starts the path towards financial literacy and understanding how your income and time is really spent. He touches on a lot of family teachings that are generational and have a lot of Tribal wisdom without basis on fact in today’s society. For anyone looking to start the path to changing their life and income, this is a great listen. It’s not easy but the journey is worth the effort.
