Story
Runner has a problem. He and 499,000 men and women are trapped in a game. He also just happens to be the only person from IT who could log everyone out safely. And he doesn't remember his password. He, like everyone else in this nightmare, had his memory scrambled or lost in the process of being loaded into the game. A single garbled message is his only clue to how to save everyone. The problem is that whoever loaded them into the game loaded their minds completely.

In The Waste, every fantasy creature, fairytale demon, or mythological monster exists. From orcs, to neriads, ogres, trolls, wraiths, elves, harpies, and even beastmen. They all exist, and all despise humankind. In the ruins of the west and east coasts, new governments have arisen. With new jobs. Story
Ryker only has one goal in his life right now: Turn a certain adventuring guild into a flaming wreck while dancing merrily through the smoldering ruins. All for the chance to get back at a handful of people. It isn’t as if they didn’t deserve it either. They had driven him from his home. Chased him physically from the very guild house itself. Simply because he wasn’t as strong as they expected him to be. As strong as he’d expected himself to be. He’d returned the next day and left with something he’d hidden away and told no one about when he found it in one of his few Dungeon Dives.

Story
An existence spent being forced to kill others to satiate a Monster. Where the only thing to look forward to was the blessed, if brief, period of time between paying that bribe. Except that very same Monster is and isn’t Rene. It just happened to live inside his own mind and force him to do what it wanted. Rather than being an actual Monster. That was Rene’s entire life until a fateful day changed that. A day that the career as a hitman for hire built on the Monster’s needs will end. Where Rene will be forced to atone for his actions. To be held accountable and judged.

Sameerixis, or Sam for those who actually know him, isn’t what you’d call normal. He’s a door-to-door salesman, of sorts. One that peddles wares, wishes, and whims to anyone willing to pay his prices. Prices that usually involve a few years of your life, maybe a handful of days, or a single night of pleasure that’ll cost a few hours. He’s an incubus that solves problems. Mental, emotional, spiritual, material, and anything and everything in between. Sam can provide an answer and resolution.

Warner spent his days like almost anyone else. He got up, went to work, answered phone calls in a call center, went home, spent time with his daughter, and went to sleep. Only to repeat the pattern over and over and over. Life was as mundane as anyone could ever fear it to be. Today was the day that all that would change. On this day, his daughter Maya would be nearly fatally injured, plunging Warner into a world of paranormal creatures, monsters, and magic he’d never known existed. The only consolation is that he discovers he’s not quite human, either.

Reports to write, forms to fill, coffee to drink, leads to run down. Gus’s life was a tedium and boredom he’d grown comfortable with. One that he sought out after he’d come back from his tour of duty. A detective in the paranormal investigations department. A job he could work day in and day out in relative peace. One cold and forgotten cup of coffee at a time. It was an environment that made some sense to him. At least in comparison to civilian life where almost nothing did. On top of that, it gave him a chance to hide what he was from the rest of the world.

Publisher's Summary
Felix would like nothing more than to take a vacation. A long one. One where he didn’t have to wake up every morning and worry over casualty lists for the day.
Ever since he and the Legion had been forced to flee their headquarters four years previous, nothing had gone quite right. In fact, Felix and the Legion have been locked in a shadow war with enemies unknown. Ones with magic that could carve through their technology easily.
As the rest of the world fell apart, tearing itself to pieces at every turn with the return of the old gods, the Legion has held the chaos back. The price in blood has been climbing slowly, lately.
Felix suspects there’s a change on the horizon. One that he hasn’t prepared or developed a plan for. Or so his paranoia has been telling him. That there’s a change coming now that’ll shake up the world. One that will turn it inside out, Legion and Felix along with it.
Felix has decided it’s time to push ahead and act. To finish things and protect his people at the same time. To take his Legion and make it safe.
Because that’s all that matters in the end to him. His Legion. And it always came first.
Warning and minor spoiler: This novel contains graphic violence, undefined relationships/harem, unconventional opinions/beliefs, and a hero who is as tactful as a dog at a cat show. Listen at your own risk.

Too Ambitious for Its Own Good
After listening to the Selfless Hero and Wild Waste series, it was evident the author was trying to incorporate all his series and possibly other author's in some kind of interconnecting universes. However, it's gotten to the point where I feel the author don't really know how to finish his own work. Everything just ends in a cliffhanger over and over again.
Super Sales on Super Heroes was possibly one of my top 10 series, but this third book really ruined it. It acted more of an after story for the series Wild Waste than it is a conclusion to Super Sales on Super Heroes. Almost half the book was focus on Felix's involvement with the other world. The focus of the characters shifted from the characters we know and love and focuses on characters taken from Wild Waste also. I am all for a harem set up, but this is ridiculous. The author spent 2 books to develop the relationships and romances of Felix and his women, then all of a sudden the author just throws in characters from Wild Waste, and they took over the show. The Andreas' adorable interactions and presence was all, but gone. No further development was given to Felix and Kit aside from a few short conversations. Miu was treated like nothing more than a pawn. And Lily, my favorite of all, was pushed to the side as some kind of a mistress rather than the leader of the girls as she always have been.
Secondly, unless you've read Wild Waste and Selfless Hero, a lot of characters and events feel out of place. It's almost a shameless ploy to make readers read these other series just to understand what is going on. If it was mentioned here and there, I wouldn't mind so much, but it was literally the focus of this last book.
And lastly, despite being the final book of the series, it leaves you with almost ZERO answers. Just another ploy by the author for the readers to invest into reading his future series whether it'll be bad or good. It's a bit insulting truth be told.

More Mythical Fantasy Than Super Anymore
The reason I started an Audible subscription was book one of this series. having said that, it was a bit of a chore to finish this one. With the merging of Arand's different universes, the fantasy elements have taken over and there's very little being done by the superhumans and too much elf, dragon, dryad stuff. Additionally, while there were traces of a harem in the other books, Felix has become a begrudging sex object to just about every female he knows in this book. It just got so tedious and the new characters didn't really stand out as individuals because of it beyond Felicity and Goldie.
Also, the series is falling heavily into a pattern. Set up new stuff > mysterious entity in charge of the government starts messing with Legion for reasons that have yet to be revealed > big mess of a battle at the end in which Felix doesn't use his power. In fact, the end of this one feels just like a rehash of book two.

Missing explanations and depth.
First off, i love the concept, and the story. But starting with book 1 to now book 3, there are so many loose ends. I'm missing explanations, character progress and a sense of understanding. It feels like the story is going from one extreme to another, which I think is a shame. The story is being told in a very nice way by Nick. I'm hoping the next book won't be so hastily made and will have more depth to it.

No Growth, same plot as before
I was disappointed as this has an almost identical plot as book 2, introduce new characters, some hidden threat, major conflict where Felix finds a way to survive, and unresolved/unexplained plot lines at the end. I can understand following a formula, but make some progress in the overarching plot. There are many plot lines from book 1 and book 2 that were left as cliffhangers that are ignored in favor of starting new threads that half way through I was wondering if the author had lost his notes.
The main character Felix was never a "good" guy, but now he acting like a mob boss (bribery, fixing elections, robbery) and it makes him unlikable to the point that I was half rooting for him to fail. I also found it disappointing that at one point there is to be an election in 3 months and the main character's first reaction was to gerrymander the election, which even in a fantasy world it seem unlikely someone could alter the voting districts in 3 months. To me it came off as lazy writing that could have been better used to address the many dangling plot lines, such as why everyone is after Felix.
The first books had an interesting premise and second book advanced it, but book three left me feeling disappointed.

So close but no cigar..
Very interesting concept with exceptionally poor execution. The guy has a God like power. Has the God of gods literally rooting for him. An infinite amount of resources (Including people) and he spends half the book caught up in boring legal debacles.... And the other half is him trying to figure out why ALL other gods are suppressing him and his powers. But of corse they can’t actually do anything to him. A dozen literal GODS can’t stop one mortal dude.... He also just has copious amounts of women throwing themselves at him despite him being a complete bore outside of his superpower.
Everything seems like the author just wrote down all his teenage wet dreams and called it a book. All the power he could want. Endless money. And orgies at his beck and call.
I actually enjoyed the first book and was excited to see where the story went. Unfortunately the author seemed more concerned with throwing fan service at his readers instead of exploring any sort of deeper story.

I had to open my mouth...
I had an awful lot of hope in this series and William D Arrand had shown promise in this series. I had wrote in my review for 'super sale on super heroes 2' that William had improved from his previous series 'the selfless hero'.
I was wrong.
So why am I disappointed? well as stated in my previous review, I had enjoyed how William had focused on the main characters and kept the story flowing from the first book. But SSOSH 3 completely sideline the original main characters for seven, YES SEVEN new characters! with the majority of the original main characters having a severe lack of character development and some of them even having 'important' parts in the main story. it's upsetting to see that one of the original characters to have five maybe six small moments in the book, then be used for one of the most important events near the end of the story. It should have made me feel upset, IT SHOULD have made me care for what was happening to them, but because the lack of "screen time" they had, I felt like it was nothing.
this is the problem you get when you have too many characters! I loose interest in all of them because eventually I don't know who's who. when you have 14 characters that I need to know, I end up forgetting them and they end up as faceless blobs!
however I do want to both praise and critise for William's merger of his 'universe' with Runner, Vince and Felix ending up in the same story. With the Marvel avengers like story coming together, it feels like it's about time that an author has tried to create a story on this caliber. the only issue that I want to bring up is the problems with bringing his Randi Darren work into the universe. personally, Randi Darren's work just isn't my cup of tea. there's nothing wrong with it, I'm just not a fan. As such, I have no clue what's going on in that story. As a personal recommendation, I would suggest keeping the two author's stories separated for the benefit of the reader. However that's for William to decide.
Ultimately I am disappointed, I do hope that William can prove me wrong. As a fan of his work, I know that William can write brilliant first books that want me to continue to the next book. But I cannot stress this enough, please William, if you're reading this. Stick with your original main characters! To me SSOSH 2 was a definite improvement on your work and showed you didn't need to resort into throwing new characters to spice up a story. You can do better than this

not as good
this fell short of the last two books. the humour and funy interactions now play second fiddle to world events. no explosive pancake madness and hareem swelling becomes nuch more prevalent. not the same tone as the previous two

Disappointing
The first book was enjoyable, the second was still good but less so but this book just seems to be a just concentrating on tales of how amazing the protagonist is and how much ladies love him as he builds up a harem. the shift tonally towards this across the books is just not as enjoyable so i did not bother finishing this book.

Disappointing direction and messy plot
So after writing a glowing review of book1 which I thought was a great book with an inventive plot line, book 2 kept my fascination on how the story would progress, book 3 fails completely on many levels.
I agree with a lot of other reviewers that the author has failed to maintain the characters of the story that keep it entertaining. The major characters in the first books, such as Lily not only take a back seat but are practically written out of the story, but then suddenly become critical at the end and you're left thinking what just happened, in a confused sense rather than emotionally connected. The books plot lines of following the development of super powers has been turned into a fantasy novel about magic elves and dragons. I read one of his alternate works previously (Wild Wastes) under his other pen name and wasn't that impressed and saw a huge parallel to this book. Now I realise that he's essentially written parallel stories to finally merge them together as Vince comes into this world and I'm sure vice versa, although I'm not interested in the Wild Waste series.
Then I also noticed the name of the 'benefactor' rang a bell....more on that below.
Overall I found the book concentrating more on the need to merge his other books story lines and less on keeping the characters interesting. As another reviewer pointed out, Felix barely uses his power in this book, the main characters powers aren't really used, it relies on adding a whole new bunch of female fantasy characters that all fall for Felix as usual, which is becoming a very tired premise. The book basically becomes a list of times Felix needs to take members of his harem out to dinner with interludes of fantasy creatures protecting him as they simply run around between locations. Really disappointed with the way such a great initial story has developed.
Possible spoiler alert
Without giving too much away unless you want to check, if you've read the description of his first group of books, Other Life, the main character is Runner (who we now find out is Felix's benefactor) and the basis of that story, which you only have to read the books description, gives away the entire basis for the worlds and powers etc when you put 2 and 2 together. I'd rather not have known this yet, but as I had checked his other books it wasn't hard to do. All the books are now coming together to join what I guess is a finale. This could have been a stroke of genius but I feel is simply diluting the very story that got people interested and ending up with a messy haphazard mixture of plot lines.

Do NOT buy this book.
1st book in the series was great! It slowly setup and explained mysterious powers of our hero and his limits. We had lots of drama some little harem setup with interesting girls. And interesting interactions between characters.
2nd Book had our hero explore his powers and gain power. There was more harem stuff but you could still find balance between it and the story. A bit to much harem in some places and the girls lost a lot from their original characters but still ok.
3th Book - pure harem, sex, emotionally dead main character clothed in an empty shell of what he was before. His "powers" completely ignored for the whole book(beside almost automatic resurrection of some characters - also the "points" didynt add up AT ALL in some places). Instead of a story we got 90% of the book focusing on him being the most perfect and most desired sex machine in the multiverse. His personality was changing already in book 2 but now he is more of a bad guy that i wish to see dead almost at every single page. Reading about him is painful his dilemmas are shallow and empty. He completely forgot about his powers witch dont even take a second plan in this book they are just somewhere in the background. Author made him just an nexus to focus 3 dimensions of womans to worship and kiss his feets.
I could go one and one about what's wrong with this book but i will leave it at that. The only reason I only dont refund it straight away is so this review stick around. Do NOT buy this book. waste of credit/money!

A surprising change of focus
I've really enjoyed the previous two books and that the story was the main focus, with mentions here and there of his harem. However this book moves the focus to his harem more than is necessary.
Despite enjoying the storyline, following Felix and Legion as they grow, expand and overcome ever more difficult challenges, I don't know if I'll be purchasing the next book in this series. This switch of focus has soured things for me.

Waffling tripe!
What started out with potential in book 1, has by now devolved into long winded diatribes and cheap soap opera tricks. if there is anymore books in the series I will really have to consider if it's worthwhile.

Crossover!
This trilogy is by far my favourite from William D Arrand with some truly spectacular characters, an intriguing story and a wealth of emotion that has had me laughing, crying and shouting in equal measure. Nick's performance is as always impeccable. This last book in the series is perhaps the saddest and most action packed in equal measure.

Mysoginist fantasy from a small minded man
The first book was funny, the latest book just whining drivel about having too many girlfriends
