Publisher's Summary

This is a reissue of Book 2 in the Blue Plague Series - narrated by Eric A. Shelman.

The battle for the future has just begun.

Bruce and Mike finally made it home. But the battle for the future has just begun.

The Louisiana farm that Bruce and his allies had built to survive the end of the world was everything they could have hoped for — but no one had planned for the endless horde of fast, smart, and ravenous blue zombies who could think, heal, and even reproduce.

Now, as they gather an armory of military weaponry from abandoned outposts all across the countryside, Bruce and his growing clan of survivors realize the truth — their compound can be the beginning of a new and rebuilt world — but only if they can confront the “blues” and make their home safe.

Pity the poor blues.

Three way?

Is this a zombie apocalypse book or I subliminal book encouraging plural relationships ? Liked book one, but this book drudged along in too many minute details regarding how this person hugged that one, non married women showering with the hero, ridiculous. I won’t bore you with a lot of other slow side stories…. The author will do that. I’m going to try #3…. But only bc I accidentally purchased it first and the thugs at audible wouldn’t let me return it.

Can’t wait to hear the next!

I own all of Thomas A Watson’s Audible books and have to say that this is one of the best! This is also one of my favorites in the Blue Plague series. Eric A Shelman does an amazing job with each character. You did Millie and Carol exactly how I felt they should sound! This audio edition did not disappoint. Thank you! Can’t wait for the rest of the series to be added!

Awesome book

The comedy, humor and action in the book makes you not want to turn it off. I get in trouble for walking around the house with earbuds in listening to Thomas books and not my wife lol. Love all his series on audible!

Hmmm

Normally I love all Eric Shelman’s books but this storyline just seem to have gotten off track. It was less about the zombies and more about how many people (women, kids, babies) can to fit into Bruce’s and Debbie’s bed and the women Bruce has the option to sleep, shower and have sex with. I just didn’t understand why that needed to be in the storyline.
I don’t think any self-respecting wife would be encouraging their husband to sleep with another woman who in love with him. To me it was bizarre shift in a zombie story. I wanted more zombies interactions not a harlequin harlem story…oh well !
I have two and half hours left however I just couldn’t take anymore and don’t plan to finish or read any additional books in the Blue Plague. Hopefully the future his future stories will be more to my liking. Sorry Eric 🙁

okay story but very cringe at times

loved all the action, guns and gear but the series is pretty unrealistic even for a zombie story. An army ranger turns his family farm into a military base with planes tanks and helicopters with thousands of people. wished he didn't harp on the whole multiple wives and cult family side story. I you can get past that and the cringe dialog it's worth listening to
