Publisher's Summary

Dina Demille doesn’t run your typical bed and breakfast. Her inn defies laws of physics, her fluffy dog is secretly a monster, and the only paying guest is a former Galactic tyrant with a price on her head. But the inn needs guests to thrive, and guests have been scarce, so when an Arbitrator shows up at Dina's door and asks her to host a peace summit between three warring species, she jumps on the chance.

Unfortunately, for Dina, keeping the peace between Space Vampires, the Hope-Crushing Horde, and the devious Merchants of Baha-char is much easier said than done. On top of keeping her guests from murdering each other, she must find a chef, remodel the inn...and risk everything, even her life, to save the man she might fall in love with. But then it's all in the day's work for an Innkeeper…

I have both book 1 and 2 and will get book 3 and any other books in any series by Ilona Andrews that they make in the Graphic Audio versions. I just love the Graphic audio version. simply great

I still consider the soundtrack way too loud and partially covering the dialogue, no sense in turning down the volume 'cause the words get lost some more under the weight of the loud soundtrack.. uff

aside from that, it was good.

Good.

But no amount of dramatic music makes up for the original audio book. She cannot be replaced.

Wonderful

The voice cast in this adaptation is awesome. The actor playing Orro is fantastic. All the Graphic Audio adaptations I have listened to have been wonderful. I can't wait to get more installments of this series.

Great fun!

I am a big fan of the authors and the original narrator for this series (Rene Raudman) is fabulous. That said, I totally enjoyed this new Graphic Audio version which is worth buying even if you already own the original audiobook. The cast is absolutely fabulous. I particularly loved the performance of Orro, the chef. I will definitely be listening to these Graphic Audio versions more than once. There were a few tweaks from the original story but nothing that I felt detracted from enjoying the audiobook. I will be buying this whole series on Graphic Audio and I am anxiously awaiting book#5 in Graphic Audio format (the original audiobook did not feature Ms Raudman as the narrator and I could not listen to it).

A Great fun audiobook

I wondered if it would be worth buying the same story twice, I have the original to, but I really loved it as much as the first dramatized audiobook. I'm so happy to have seen that this one was also dramatized. They are both funny and sweet, my favorite in this one is the chief Ortho? I think that's his name, he's a corker, drama drama drama in spades.

Good production, slight changes to the story

This is one of my favorite series, so you can imagine how many times I’ve listened to the originals. The Graphic Audiobooks are well done and I will be buying every graphic-audiobook in the Innkeeper Chronicles. That being said, I was a little disappointed to discover they slightly changed parts of the story. Some of my favorite scenes were changed or altogether taken out. I still recommend listening to this sorry, just know there are some differences (besides the obvious) to the original telling.

Omg! That was so good!

This might be one of the best graphic audiobooks I've listened to. I'm not sure I could ever go back to normal narration without wistful longing. It really is a movie in your mind! Each voice was perfectly cast, the plot was riveting without thriller-level stress (thank goodness!), and I'm just loving Dina more and more with each book. Poor Sean, and now there are even more regular supporting characters for me to laugh uproariously at. Absolutely loving this series!

love it

I read the book and listened the audio book. However the graphic audio just immense me in the story.
Yes there seems to be a little bit left out or condensed but I don't think those really matter in the scheme of it.
I think they did a wonderful job. I will be looking forward to more graphic audio books.
