I'm blown away by Sweet, Sexy Heart. I love Dash and Amber. Dash is sweet, protective and the type of guy any girl would want. Amber is cautious, to the point of it holding her back from enjoying her life. But she's happy and loves her small town life. I related to Amber, rooted for her to exit her comfort zone and felt for Dash. This book had me laughing, smiling and in tears. I think this may be one of my favorite Melissa Foster books yet.

Sweet and Sexy!

Melissa has magic in her pen, like acorns in a jar when writing a story.
Dash was a retired football star. He went to Oak Falls, Virginia to visit a buddy to get away from it all. Amber was the owner of a book store and seemed the only woman that wasn't trying to get his attention. He had contracted to have a signing in her book store to sign his book he had written. Dash was so sweet and thoughtful to Amber, expecially when she had seizures caused by her epilepsy.
Meg Sylvan and Tim Page did a fantastic job narrating it. They made me think I was standing by each character watching this beautiful story unfold.

Sweet,Sexy Heart is the perfect title for this Story. Dash and Amber are hot and dynamic. The sparks start flying from page one. Melissa has done it once again with this amazing book.

Sweet and Steamy

The audiobook of Sweet, Sexy Heart by Melissa Foster had me captivated right from the start. Narrators are Meg Sylvan and Tim Paige and this is the first time i have heard them and then did a great job narratoring the story. In this story we meet Amber Montgomery who runs a bookstore and Dash Pennington who is an athlete turned author. They first get to meet because Amber agreed to have Dash come out to do a book signing. When Dash first lays eyes on Amber, he knew that instant that he had to get to know her. Amber was more cautious because Dash was too much of a man for her. Amber has a seizure response dog by the name of Reno so she is very cautious about getting too excited. Amber felt Dash was a playboy, not ready to settle down. Boy was she wrong. Dash did everything in his power to show her that he was sweet, caring and thoughtful. Dash was ready to slow down and settle down with Amber and he definitely proved that they belong together. I so loved listening to their story.

AMAZING!

I absolutely loved it! It had it all (drama, suspense and romance). The narration was outstanding! It will keep you entertained! The author did an amazing job with the character builds and plot! I love this author's writing! You really don't want to miss the best series ever! I look forward to reading more of her books! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Dash & Amber

I listened to the audiobook as well as read the kindle edition. The narrators did a great job of bringing this story to life, adding the extra spice that makes audiobooks so enjoyable.

Sweet, Sexy Heart by Melissa Foster is a love story where the heroine, Amber Montgomery has epilepsy and lives a very guarded self-imposed lifestyle to ensure she keeps her stress level to a minimum. She’s happy in her quiet small-town life surrounded and supported by freinds, family and her service dog Reno.

Former Football MVP, motivational speaker and new author Dash Pennington arrives in Oak Falls needing a break and to open his book tour at Amber’s bookstore. It doesn’t take long before Dash realizes everything that’s missing in his life is here.

And so their love story begins. On the surface two people who seem opposites in every way, but going deeper they share so much and are soulmates in every way. 

There are wonderful supporting characters who lend a helping hand along the way. I especially love Cade Montgomery’s late night walks and talks with Amber. His unique way of looking at life, Amber’s life in particular, giving her a POV she hadn’t considered.    

I love the acorns and their special meaning, the heart notes, service to others and of course the heat you’ve come to expect from Melissa Foster. Dash is definitely swoonworthy, but he’s so much more. This book sould be required reading for yong men so they know how to treat that special someone in their life! 

Dash brings back charm, romantic overtures, and an open heart.  His ability to act in Amber’s best interest along with his thoughtfulness and to see Amber as so much more than how she views herself. She’s everything to him and that makes him the Swoonworthy hero of the year!

If you like Hallmark movies, grab this book. Sweet, Sexy Heart is the hotter version of a Hallmark movie playng out as you read. 

Great opposites attract trope!

Ms. Foster continues her sweet and spicy series with the story of Amber and Dash. The opposites attract trope involves the small town bookstore owner with an ex-football player turned author. Foster seems to always throw in a very meaningful subplot and in this one, it was Amber's epilepsy. It was a learning experience hearing about her life with the condition and the ways in which her service dog helped her.

As usual, the hero was someone your heart has to lust after. Dash was so incredibly sweet to Amber and determined to take care of her. Amber had a strength and determination that was enviable. The two together were magic!

Love Love Love

I loved this book! It hit home for me but not like you would think. My dog had epilepsy and all the signs and symptoms that Amber had my dog had as well. Melissa really did her homework when learning about epilepsy.

Amber has dealt with epilepsy for most of her life. She always has her trusty service dog Reno by her side and her alert necklace on incase of an episode. She knows what triggers episodes and tries to avoid those situations. Dash Pennington is a former NFL star turned author who is doing a book tour to promote his new book. His first stop on the tour is Ambers book store. When he meets Amber he is blown away by her and wants to know more about her.

He studies up on all things epilepsy so he knows what to do in the event something happens while he is with her. He wants to get Amber out of her little world she has stayed in and show her things that life can offer. Dash is a lover and protector and knows just how to make Amber feel happy safe and loved. Dash is totally swoon worthy and the type of hero everyone wants. These two characters bring out the best in each other. I have been waiting not very patiently for this book to release and Melissa Foster did not disappoint.

The audio version of this book is soo good. Tim Page and Meg Sylvan are the narrators and they really do this book justice. Their voice really fit the characters and they had me wanting to hear more and not wanting the book to end. This is a audio book that I would listen to again and again.

Ohhhh

What a fantastic story. I have read and enjoyed many books by this author. But....this is by far my favorite. I laughed and cried and smiled with this wonderful pair. The love between Amber and Dash lit up the "pages". This was such a wonderful love story. I just can't say enough about the story and the narration. You will enjoy.

Dash and Amber forever

Audiobook Review: I absolutely love Meg Sylvan and Tim Paige as narrators. They are perfect for Melissa Foster’s Sweet, Sexy Heart book. Dash and Amber are sweet, sexy, and fun and the voices of the narrators portray them perfectly. I could feel their love, hear their respect, and know exactly what emotion they were feeling as I listened to the story.

eBook Review: Dash Pennington is all alpha male, which is exactly what Amber Montgomery is not needing in her life. Amber is happy to run her bookstore, hang out with her friends, and live her quiet life. Enter Dash, who upon first look decides that Amber is all that he wants. As a retired athlete, motivational speaker, and author he goes for what he wants and does not give up until he gets it.

I loved that Melissa Foster wrote Amber as not a perfect character. She has epilepsy and it has held her back some. She knows that stress and tiredness can bring on seizures, so she lives her life carefully and aware of her body’s reactions. Dash Pennington has done his research on epilepsy and knows that he has to be aware of Amber’s needs. I love that he embraces her life, supports her, and wants a relationship with her. He does not just pursue her, he woos her, he wins her over, and he gives her everything that he has to offer.

Dash and Amber are meant to be. They belong together and I look forward to catching glimpses of their future in other books in this series.
