This book could extend your life.

This book could extend your life and even more importantly improve the quality of your life.

In life, there is nothing more important than having good health.

You might be lucky enough to take health for granted for a while, but at some point, it might catch up with you, and once you lose good health you realize how important it is.

Following the advice in this book brings you better health.

While you hopefully are familiar with some of thing things covered, you will also be able to pick up a number of critical health tips that you were not familiar with.

All it takes is a few changes in your diet, and maybe adding a supplement or two, and your health can have a dramatic improvement.

This book gives you those changes and suggests some supplements so you might find one or more that you want to try.

Another thing I like is the author goes over some of her challenges in life, and how she overcame and worked through them. We all have challenges, setbacks, etc., and knowing this information makes the author more relatable and believable. In other words, it shows she is human and suffers through some of the same issues that readers might be having.

As you age and realize health is your most important asset, and you are searching for ways to improve your health, this book will help you improve your most important asset.

Listen now or pay doctors later or worse.

Insulin resistance and hormones are the key! Fatty liver and diabetes are robbing people of quality of life and eventually causing diabetes and worse. Read (or listen) to this book over and over to get your brain to think properly and your actions will follow.

Like the author I was an avid athlete. In my case regularly mountain biking thousands of feet up the mountains, kiteboarding, snow skiing, playing tennis and pickleball, hiking, etc. Suddenly in my 50’s I tore my meniscus walking through the parking lot on a warm sunny day.

The MRI revealed severe osteoarthritis – the doctors explained that I had worn out my joints! Thus the Dr’s advised eliminating most of my favorite activities!

Triya Redberg’s book Sweet surprise was sweet indeed! Now I was able to get my weight back to normal without the activities I could do no longer participate in . The battle for better weight and health was by changed by the way I think. Although the physical therapists got me back on my feet and the Dr’s diagnosed the causes which damaged my body. The money spent to learn the information in Triya’s book was less expensive and created the results for weight loss and a more balanced life.

My advice is to give it a go… the expense is so much less than even a single visit to a doctor… yet the information gained more balanced and helpful in one’s day-to-day life.

Despite room for improved grammar it’s easy to actually understand the critical data that can improve quality of life as well as longevity.

I have learned about the gut microbiome and the importance of gut health & brain health. Love the polyphenol-rich food that the author explained in detail. Very easy to understand. I Highly recommend this book!

Valuable advice based on latest research for healthy eating habits

This book has all the information you need to get into healthy eating habits. Easy to understand guidelines for what to eat and what to avoid for benefits that go well beyond weight loss. The author does an amazing job of explaining the why behind the recommended food choices, based on solid research. Sources for all research mentioned in this book are easy to find in the reference section. I’ve seen real results myself after following the practical advice in this book. As for the audiobook version: best to keep the PDF handy as reference to follow along—I found it helps with remembering the lists of do’s and don’t’s. Many thanks to the author for the efforts she put into this book that will make a huge difference in people’s lives! Highly recommended!!

So much insight!

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook because it was so informative and you feel like Triya is right there with you as you are trying to put the pieces together to lose weight after 40. She does a great job at coming down to the readers level and mention some of the things that caused her to miss out on the results she wanted just like most people normally do you don’t have the better know how. Then she goes through all the different foods and techniques of how to achieve weight loss. I honestly think I need to listen to the book again to grasp everything. That’s how thorough it is! This is a great audiobook and I recommend it to anyone who is trying to lose weight after 40.

The info I’ve always wanted!

Great resource if you want to know the ins and outs of why you want to eat specific foods and avoid others to loose weight. I feel like this 21 day sugar detox is totally doable and I will be doing this three times a year to lose and maintain my goal weight. I especially enjoyed the bonuses at the end- what a sweet surprise!

A trustworthy author

This 7-hour-long audiobook is absolutely packed with the right information on weight loss. I would class it as more of a nutrition book but the depth it goes into is truly something to admire. It addresses many different questions we all wonder about when deciphering what to put in our bodies. I would recommend this to anyone struggling to find the right answers when it comes to staying healthy.

Very good resource for weight loss!

This came at the right time for my relative looking for a way to improve her health! It covers everything you need to know to get rid of unwanted fat permanently! It touches on facts, challenges, gut health info, brain hormone balance, and more! The narrator delivered the content very well and clearly making the information easy to understand. Highly recommended to those wanting to understand nutrition, exercise, and controlling intake!

I love this

I love this, this book help me to reach my Beach body, i just follow you advices i will get back to this after 2months but this book is worth to listed there is a lot of the advices and a lot of the knowledge that you can earn when it comes to your body, any age can do this, you should listen/read this book its so amazing...

Very educational and helpful!

I'm not 40yet but almost there. I have seen many people that I know over 40 tend to have high blood sugar, cholesterol, and diabetes because they don't know how to take care of their diet. That's why I decide to have a healthier diet and watch my diet and my sugar intake. I have learned so much from this book. This is not only just about weight loss but also gives you so much information on how much sugar intake can affect that much to our bodies. This is really good for any age, not just over 40. They can start to have healthy habits early. Don't have to wait until it is too late. Highly recommended!

Great book!

I really enjoyed listening to this book and learnt a lot from it. There are so many books out there relating to weight loss that it can be hard to decide which one is best. I found this book delved into many helpful topics that will not only help women over 40 but across the age spectrum. The narration is also enjoyable to listen to. I shall be recommending this book to all my girlfriends who are interested in getting their health back on track.

Feeling youthful at 40!

This book is packed with gems to help you look and feel youthful. Even though this book is targeted for people who are over 40--understandably, since your metabolism changes with age, I think many of the advice in this book anyone could benefit from them, such as reducing processed food and sugar intake, doing intermittent fasting, and improving the gut microbiome. I personally have done intermittent fasting and can attest to its benefits. Additionally, over years, there are increasing research linking gut microbiome to various health conditions. There are even research that supports the difference between gut microbiome between people who maintain appropriate weight and people who are overweight. I like that this book combines several scientific-based advice without making sound complicated.

Good for Couples

Got this audio guide for my wife but it ended up helping both of us get into perfect shape. This book took both of us all the way in dieting and showing us the new way to keeping our amazing new bodies in shape. I lost over 20 pounds in the past couple of weeks while my wife lost about 15 -23! The results are honestly astounding and I love the tactics and methods used in this audio guide.

Great book

This book is great. it teaches us that not only is it important to eat healthily for weight loss but also for many other reasons. There are some great evidence-based facts in the book and the author has done a really good job of researching the subject so she can help you. it has some great practical advice that I have already started to implement.

What a surprise even for me!

I knew there was some sugars out there to stay away from but I thought all of them end with “ose” I had no idea there is 56 different sugar names… WoW!

I am so glad that Triya has taken the time to give us so very much information that can help each one of us succeed where we couldn’t before. I feel this is the most complete book out there, and know that I have to listen to some sections again to see if I got everything from them. It is definitely a keeper!

I love the fact that she went into all the things I knew about but with a deeper knowledge helping me to see even those in a better light than before, but she even covered so much I didn’t know, and I enjoyed the degree that she went into each one. I think I have so much knowledge now if nothing else at the tips of my fingers or the listening ear that can help me do what I need to do to care for myself better.

I am looking forward to doing the 21 day sugar detox and feel like I can actually accomplish it and that is big for me because I know my greatest weakness is sugar, I admit I stay away from the worse ones but I am sure I have the other ones way too much.

The chapters have helped me to see why my body seems to desire some of the good foods a lot & I am excited to get the list of superfoods for my gut microbiome.

Honestly the best thing I can say to others reading the reviews is: “Get the book and see for yourself how great it is” I could say everything that I got out of it but I just don’t feel it even does the book justice.

Great listen, great advice!

I was really inspired by this book. I've come to think that I'm a bit insulin resistant as I hit 50 and my hormones wreak havoc on my body! This book is a definite must-have for women like me. I started with the diet advice and delicious recipes and my sugar cravings have literally stopped (it took about a week for me). That in itself is worth the price of admission! The rest feels pretty easy, along with reduced sugar cravings is a reduced appetite... can't wait to see how I feel in a month from now!
